I love 50s advertising.

Everything was sold with a smile...

Oh, and there's a "Soda Pop Board of America"?

Who knew?

This is awesome Mike.

Somewhere I have a vintage ad saying something along the lines of "More Doctors Smoke Camels than Any Other Brand."

I was once asked by a client "have you ever written any non-fiction?" I laughed. Then I cried.

That was also during the time when women in high heels mopped kitchen floors with a smile. They also got excited about dish detergent and laundry supplies. Very odd people, those.

I tried to link to the "More doctors smoke camels" image
but the Einstein on the other end doesn't want a PR5 link.

Is that ad real? "Start them on a strict regimen of sodas and other sugary carbonated beverages right now" sounds a bit over the top - but who knows. That was a crazy time.
