Hello everyone.

I would like some help with the sales page I am creating for my PLR membership website.

The way I want it to work is I want the home page to have a teaser/pre-sell for the main sales page.

Shown here: Sticky PLR - Quality PLR at Affordable Prices

If people want to read more, they click read more or if they are already wanting to purchase they can by clicking join now.

However what I want help with is, how I can best convert people from the home page to the sales page and how I can create a unique sales page for the main PLR sales page, when they click read more.

Thank you in advance.

  • Hey WillyBoy104,

    It's hard to believe there are another 103 WillBoys out there, but OK.

    Your page looks good. I chuckled at your testimonials.

    You don't mention where you expect traffic to come from. In general the more hoops one has to jump through the more people you will lose each step of the way. In order for your "short" page to convert it will have to be seen by people who already know what PLR is and are warmed to the market. In that case your unique selling proposition is likely "price" and/or "quality at a low price".

    Most PLR buyers are wanting quality English articles in specific "hot" niches at the lowest possible price point. Your short page needs to make it clear your articles meet those criteria. While how many hours are spent on them or home much was *paid* to produce the articles are both a plus, I would focus more on demonstrating clearly the three elements noted above.

    * High Quality
    - Written by native English speakers
    - Written by internationally syndicated writers
    - Fresh original content
    - etc.

    * Hot Niches
    - LIST THEM
    - 10 new Relationship articles each month
    - 15 new Self-Help articles each month
    - 12 new Make Money Online articles each month
    - etc.

    * Cheap
    - From just $1.05 an article

    If your short page contains the least amount of information your warm prospect needs to make a decision, then your longer page can contain more detailed info.

    On the subject of hoops, you might want to reconsider asking your visitors to download your samples. Far better to link straight through to online samples which the prospect can read immediately. And they will want to read them, especially as there is such a lot of crappy PLR out there.

    Btw, loved the testimonials as well!

    Hi Willyboy,

    There's a site in the UK that has had moderate success in this area that you might want to spy on...

    It's indigitalworks - I can't put the link in at the moment due to lack of posts on my part. The end is dot com if you haven't already come across it before.

    They have quite a unique model in place. They do have mixed info products - some really great unique and others that are just PLR master rights they have got and posted up.

    I guess what you should do on your homepage depends on two things:

    1. Where the traffic is coming from

    2. What your main marketing strategy will be i.e. will you be making the sale outright or are you capturing email addresses first, build a list then sell them later on.

    I liked the look of your site, I thought it looked up and coming and certainly eye catching.

    Back to your questions..

    1. How do you get people on to the sales page from the home/squeeze page?

    Hook them in, provide them with helpful problem solving information, persuade them based on their desires that you have what they want to solve their problems (in a truthful and emotional manner) and deliver on your promises.

    Question 2. How do you write a unique sales letter for your product - the million dollar question...

    By

    *Getting their attention with a compelling story/a great hook/a big promise.
    * Hook them into the sales page that is emotional driven (on all levels - not just the main benefits but the deep down inside that they will never talk about emotions)
    * Overcome their objections
    * Provide as much proof as possible that what you are offering is their perfect solution
    * Offer a guarantee
    * Build some urgency into the page in a way that is honest
    * Offer an Irresistable offer that gives them MEGA value
    * And provide them with a call to action at the end that closes them out big time!

    Not that much then... :0)

      Kevin, firstly thank you for your in-depth reply to my questions & I am glad you like my testimonials

      I suppose I should of mentioned where I plan to get most of my traffic from, well this is Internet Marketing forums, JV's, email list, article marketing and blogging. Therefore I hope to be receiving a large percentage of targeted traffic and traffic which understands already what PLR is. However an important point you made was, if people don't already know what PLR is, then it would be best if I explained this too.

      The main selling points of my membership will be the price/quality of my PLR products. The three main points you wrote are excellent and definitely ones I will use on the front page, I just hope I can fit everything in to the home page without making it look messy or too big.

      My aim is to make it short & sweet, straight to the point and effective so that people are so interested they automatically click through to the next page.

      Thanks again Kevin.

      Amanda, very good point. I will set up a page right now with article samples on so that people do not have to download them. I never thought about this merely because my Internet connection and computer are easily capable of doing this in less than 5 seconds but I suppose it may not be the same for every other person.

      Glad you enjoyed the testimonials

      Thanks again Amanda.

      Thank you Jenny, for your extensive reply and for the link to the other website, I had not already seen it although I had done a lot of research

      The idea is to make the sale first, since this is a membership website after they join I will automatically have their e-mail address to communicate with them anyways, from there I plan on building a relationship with all of my customers by guiding them and tutoring them to ensure each member makes at least the monthly fees from the PLR they are given.

      I think that is a major importance for my site, to ensure each member is 110% satisfied with my products/membership.

      Thank you for your pointed ideas/sales page structure I have noted them all down and used them in my current sales page structure to hopefully make it even better.

      Thanks again, to each of you who replied.
