Optimizing Conformation Emails

So as of recent I have come across a mentor that was kind enough to share some leads of a niche he is no longer using.

I imported the list to my getresponse account, and have had only 4 people out 2500 confirm and join the subscription.

Personally this feels like terrible statistics, and was wondering if writing strong copy for conformation emails might help. I have done a little testing, but am still unsure what direction to go in.

Is there anything specific you feel can help increases conversion from conformation emails...?

Some examples would be great. Thank you in advance my friends !

    well if those emails are already confirmed you could import them into a mailing software that doesn't require confirmation. Take a look at listmailpro or interspire email marketer.

    Without getting into new software this is the copy I am using currently, I know it could be stronger.

    success 1618 - that is very poorly written and there's nothing compelling to it. To get someone to open your email there's two KEY FACTORS.

    1. The Name of the Sender - if they dont know who you are, chances you are going to spam.
    2. The Subject or Headline - CRITICAL - as another post on the forum says quoting Mr. Schwab "If your headline is so bland it could apply to another business, get rid of it."
