Hi - new member, first post.

I would appreciate the advice of you more experienced and wiser members.

I came across a website purporting to be that of Gary Halbert. As a noob I'm not allowed to post urls, but basically it has no www, then there's his name followed by .net - this website is purporting to sell Gary Halbert's entire collection of letters, plus other good stuff, for $27.00. This, if genuine, would be a total no-brainer.

But is it genuine? Do any of you know?

My doubts are around the fact that the website is rather thrown-together looking, that it's including adsense, that it has a video on sign language (??!), that there are no contact details on it, and that I'm not sure Gary Halbert's business is still running since his death.

On the other hand, the words at the bottom, Cherrywood Publishing, do seem to apply to Gary Halbert's publishing company, although that company doesn't have a website.

Would any of you guys know the truth of this?

Thanks in advance,

Tracy Culleton

Do you mean these ads you can view for free?

I would be suspicious. You can look up who OWNS and Registered that domain, and that is:

    NDI
    PO Box 1707
    Newberry, FL 32635

The contact address for the registrant is mhK9up@privacypost.com

That should be all you need to know to figure out anybody can type any address on a website.

I got is as part of a $1 sale resource. The link is in Anarchy Ads above.

I can't comment on the rest of the package, but I have the feeling The Gary Halbert Letters was the deciding factor for you.

I certainly would not suggest you spend any money on getting it.

There must be more than 30 letters etc

    Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks for the feedback/opinion guys. I went back on that website and the home page had changed. It's now offering the work of lots of gurus for very little for digital download. Sounds like a piracy site to me. It's true what they say: if it seems too good to be true it probably is. So not surprisingly I'll pass.

But I very much appreciate you all taking the time to post on this. And the offers of help.

      All best, Tracy
