Is there Good Copywriting software?

recently I was listening to a podcast where a software was briefly mentioned
that allowed you to construct copy within the program.

I listen to SO many podcasts and I just can't recall which it was.

Does anyone know of decent, low cost (say under $100) that would do something like this.

I have checked out Scribe by Copyblogger and noticed that they used to recommend one in particular.

I guess I am mostly curious if anyone knows the exact one I recently heard since there is a good chance that others have heard the same show.

Thanks

    Here's the bad news...

Top pro copywriters don't use software to write copy.

Since that is the case, why would you want to model mediocrity?

Burpies by Brett is good. I mean, for an automated product. You won't get a killer letter but you'll end up with a good structure you can build on.

Of course you need the right info to feed it with. But if software is what you want then this is the one to get.

    Thanks for the replies..

I really have no use for it right now..and I do plan on learning copywriting, I should say
practicing as I have been reading about it for years but never really "done" anything yet.

The product mentioned was sort of an advising program, type this in and you get corrections or recommendation. I believe you have to have an idea of what your doing for this to be effective. Also, I would assume if I am only mediocre right now... I need all the help I could get.
Basically, I just like investigating these things and putting the ideas away for when I need them.
    Thanks for the tips.

    There's an app for that...

...Oh wait, it hasn't come out yet.

Not sure when it will either.

In the meantime, how about manufacturing some originality.

I hear you can access it (originality) through the cerebral cortex...

...you know, where consciousness supposedly originates...

    ...not sure though.

    Anyways...

...Good luck attempting to position yourself in the marketplace with generic content.

    Cheers!

    Mark

P.S. Sorry, I had to... I mean, seriously! Who goes on a copywriting forum and takes a big... ah... never mind.

      Ok

This was just one of the things I had to "remember" or else go crazy! lol

Kinda like when you lose your phone or keys...

So it was or is rather, Fast Effective Copy by David Garfinkel

It was mentioned in the Dishy Mix podcast with Susan Bratton..

Looks interesting but a little steep and price.. and I agree you probably

can't replace using your own mind and skills. Of course, it's tempting to see what it all does though.

        Hi there,

Fast Effective Copy is not software. It's a whole membership site powered by David's seminal copywriting course, "Copywriting Templates".

As for "steep", bear in mind Copywriting Templates was a $1,200 physical product that included 20+ discs and three 2 1/2 inch binders of transcripts and training materials - along with the complete set of templates.

        We'd love to have you,

        Brian McLeod

          Brian,

          thanks for the info..

Fast Effective Copy does look like a good value, not to mention the sales page has

          Good Copy!

Although, I don't need it yet and I will probably never be a "great" copywriter.. (but, you never know )

          thus having

          some eventual need to outsource.

I can see the benefits of learning and taking advantage of some training like this.

Copywriting has always been a fascinating subject, I think for a lot of people, but

when it comes down to it , putting in the hard work can be difficult, I think the key word for me is "focus"

            Jeff,

            Sorry, that's a long-since dead offer.

FEC is now a one-time payment of $497 for lifetime access.

You get instant access to everything that's ever been in the site (which is way too much to list here) and everything that ever goes in the site in the future.

            For a timely example...

Tonight is our monthly Live Training Webinar plus Q&A with copywriter extraordinaire Jimmy Curley:

            Webinar Registration

It's free to attend our live training webinars each month, but the replays and downloads are for members only (posted within a day or two).

            Thanks for asking,

            Brian

Thank you Brian...firstly for getting Jimmy to reveal the good stuff.
and secondly for alerting me/us for the time and date.

There surely can't be software for everything out there. Copywriting is tough enough without adding other people's software in the mix.

Just understand the problem from the point of view of the buyer then offer the solution. If you are good with words, synonyms and story telling then you are on track. Can't remember seeing any software that is good in storytelling.

It's always a good idea to write you copy and then have an expert copywriter do a critique. It's good on the budget, you get you letter done, and it's great lesson. You can find experts here on the WF.

Hmmm, I would say most defo not! lol

The art of story telling is one of a ancient one, and makes us unique as humans.

My advice would be, if you don't know how to write copy ... LEARN! because even if you hire a copywriter... your output will be only as good as your input.

So, a deep understanding of the type of language is required to contruct a winning angle that is in match with current market trends and other related pitches where they might be similair angle at that time.

You ideally need to know whats hot and whats not, in that particular niche. So it takes a certian level of research, knowing who is doing what and the angles they dropping.

If someone saying blogging is the best, we might come and do a video blogging software and say anything else that blogs on the market without video is rubbish.. possibly even forcing refunds so people buy your product...

This type of knowledge is known by those who a current and more importantly ACTIVE! as in, they are engaging on a regular basis with the wider comminity for the niche.

    Here is plan...

You can go into your niche, look at top converting sales letter and just ' swipe and re type' in your own words, pref even relating to your circumstances/experiences or someone you know.

Chances are it has been written by some clever dick, and can use that as a basis... but do not COPY peoples work. It is a guideline to give you a starting ground and you must completely re word, use the synonyms in word to give alternative meanings for the same word.. but make sure it is relevant and applicable.

If, however, you have discovered a new goldmine... than it is even more of a reason to learn the art of copywriting! haha

copywriting software. Yes, there is only one that I know of that works every time and is by far the best on the planet.
It's called the "human Brain." No software could hope to match what an expert copywriter can do. End of story!

It would be best if you just write your own copy. A copywriting software is no match for the human brain. Maybe in the future, there will be a good copywriting software available in the market. For now, try to create your own copy if this isn't possible have someone who's good at copywriting do it for you.

I'm amazed nobody's mentioned distraction free writing software yet.

While there's no such thing as a piece of software that can think for you, what you can do is reduce the clutter from your life (and your computer), enabling you to streamline your thoughts and really concentrate on your words.

As a Mac user I recommend Writeroom, there is a similar program called Q10 for Windows.

The quality of my copy increased notably the day I started using it.

And I'll play with this one too...

One I haven't seen mentioned (unless I missed it somehow): Marlon Sanders' "Pushbutton Salesletters" Software.

I haven't tried it out because it's PC software and I have a Mac, but I"m curious...

I do agree that there's nothing that can replace a trained brain. But there just might be shortcuts that could be used to crank out basic starter copy for rush jobs... that can then be tweaked.

If your budget is too low to hire a professional copywriter your best bet is to try to learn copywriting yourself.

AI is nowhere near the level of being able to create convincing, emotionally resonant language. That tech is over 50 years away, if it's even possible.
