Up Selling

Hi Warriors, Im about to launch my first product this month (offline)

I have a squeeze page which I'm offering a FREE e-book. Once they enter their details, they get re-directed to another URL where they can download their e-book, but I wanted some hints and tips for up selling another of my e-books or an affiliate product.

My audience are going to be mainly late teens to early 20's.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Well, what topics of ebooks or affiliate products are you thinking about offering to them?

    You could always ask them what they believe about this or that to give you feedback...you seem to have already pre-qualified them with your free offer.

    Hum. Late teens are going to be interested in article marketing?

    I guess a few of them are.

    What kind of articles? What are they going to write about? Teenage angst? Uncomfortable moments of asking girls out? The latest in makeup and hairstyle? (These are all legitimate, you know.) But I'd like to know more about your target market, what you expect them to DO with their knowledge that can be so nicely dispensed in article form, and how they are to "follow up" with another set of techniques that they can buy from you.

    Not that I want you to give away the store. Just explain a little more please. Obviously it's not clear enough to anyone else, or there would be more replies. Thanks!

    I think we would need more information to help you mate. I read the thing twice and I cannot really understand what you want us to help you with exactly.

    If its upselling, get them on the list and redirect them directly to upselling page.

    OPTIN --> THANK YOU PAGE THAT REDIRECTS AFTER 5 SECONDS AUTOMATICALLY --> UPSELLING PAGE.

    This is the way that has been the most successful for me because you don't depend on the visitors to take action to get to the upsell page

      Hi guys, sorry if my original post didnt make much sense.

      So basically, my target audience are young people. That probably havent heard of Internet Marketing. But I'm asuming all young people want to make more money. (Especially using a computer)
      So my offline campaign will be to advertise to them on "how to make money online". (Pointing them to my website where I give them my e-book on how to write articles OR how to become an affiliate marketer)
      Once I capture their email addresses they will then get directed to my "Thank you" page. This is where they can download the e-book. BUT also on this page is where I will be up selling another e-book of a simlar topic. i.e. IM gigz etc etc

      So I guess what I am asking is a good way for converting on my "Thank you" page.

      Maybe you guys have some good examples of how the page should look. i.e. Free e-book at the top then the upsell further down the page pr vice versa.

      I really hope this makes sense.
