I know headline is the first thing users see in website & I heard lot of success stories of people who just changed their headlines and doubled their sales.... i also want to experience the same & want to see power of headline

    Urgent Time descriptive words like Today, Now, Instantly, etc give off an instant gratification vibe that people love.

    1 easy way to come up with great headlines is by writing your bullets first before writing the headline. Bullet writing is an art and a science in itself so I assume that you know how to write them. As Mr Subtle said above, you must also learn how to swipe from winning copy. I suggest you study salesletters by great copywriters like Ben Settle, Clayton Makepeace and Bob Bly. Maybe I should throw in a shameless plug for my name as well. Lol.
    To add more power to the headline, make it specific and put in some curiosity. For example you could say something like:
    "Attention Ezine Owners: Discover the Fastest Way To Double Your List Up To At Least 50% It's Present Number in 24 Hours Or Less. You Either Pull This Off Successfully Or I'll Eat My Hat and Give You A Double Refund for Wasting Your Time"
    Now tell me that headline wouldn't catch your attention if you saw it and I'll eat my hat. Lol.

    What will building my list fast do for me? Building a list fast doesn't inspire me. It actually deters me. I'm more concerned with conversion than just building more of a larger list. To me, I associate building a list fast with spam. I was triggered automatically with "ok this guy is going to tell me how to get mass people to sign up which means it's not likely targeted and likely useless signups of uninterested people..."

    Always try to leverage upon something in your headline. It can be a past experience or something you can predict in your prospect. Why do big-name marketers have over 100,000s of subscribers? Why are your prospects stuck at expanding their list?

    Maybe that's not even the case. What they perhaps want... is to speed their list subscriptions up. Send their lists soaring with "hungry snapping crocodiles" to buy things from them.

    Be more specific. Are you targeting the total beginner, or are you aiming for the intermediate marketers who already have a list? Tailor your headline to that. Sometimes, a wider basket simply means lower conversions.

    Your product is pretty commonplace. That means that your copy has to be different & daring, charming or challenging... it has to piggyback the stronger competitors.

    If your product uses a special mechanism... flaunt it right away.

    People don't want *another* list-building product. They just want something that gives them a solution to their problem. Novelty is something you can flaunt immediately. Commonplace simply means ignored, not bought and deleted.

    List-building is so commonplace the big benefit itself is easily understood by your target market... In fact, their emotional buttons might be somewhat numbed by previous products they've gotten. That's another reason why you'll need to shift your proof upwards in the copy and also gradualize reasoning in a quicker pace.

    I don't know, but maybe you'd want to try these tiny alignments for a massive change. Your copy isn't great, these pointers could help a little.

    1) Easy
    2) Fast
    3) Specific
    4) Qualifying
    5) Agitating
    6) Seductive
    7) Mystery

    People don't want to Learn. They want spoon-feeding, convenience and total ease.

    Look, the basics *alone* explode your list.... (You don't even need the advanced methods!)
    The advanced methods stretch your list to more horizons...
    Even big-name experts destroy their own lists with one post.... Here's how you can....

    That kind of meaning.

    Listen, don't be afraid to have a personality! You don't have to offend, but you can incite a soft challenge. You can insist. You can press on, be aggressive. It depends on your copywriting style. You can talk casually!

    People don't want to do work. If you teach how to skyrocket conversions, use that to your advantage. You don't need a massive list if you can convert a high percentage from a small list, for example.
