An Introduction

New member here and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. Not sure if this is the right place for it, but since I'm an aspiring copywriter, this seemed the best fit.

I've never joined a forum board before, but I'm currently living in small town Minnesota before I make the move out to the Portland, OR area, and figured that I should get my introverted self out there a bit and maybe meet some people that share some of my goals/passions.

I'm currently taking an online course in copywriting, and supplementing it with a couple of books by Robert Bly (and have a gigantic list of books to read afterwards). I've been a writer most of my life, and am an avid reader/researcher/lifelong learner. That, and of course, an interest in the art of sales and business. So copywriting obviously holds a certain level of appeal for me.

Anyway, starting to ramble. I've been an on and off again lurker here for a year or so when I was first brought here while researching copywriting courses. It always seemed like a great site with very knowledgeable members. I look forward to getting to know some of you, and hopefully can return (in time) some of the benefits I have received here.
