When sitting down to write your copy,
what do you fellow warriors do to have
a nice clear energetic mind.

For me, its a good night sleep, perhaps a
morning jog and a good breakfast.

Also, lots of water.

What do YOU do to get in the zone?

    I start writing...

And I'm not even being a smart ass here.

Everything else that is not writing... IS NOT WRITING.

When I feel "stuck" I usually bang out some bullets.

Sitting on my writing desk usually does it for me. It's a desk near the window, wooden, with a few good pens and stationeries... A good lamp for night writing. I find that it conditions me to "get into the peak zone" fast.

Of course, sleeping after researching all the benefits seems to clear away the cobwebs and give you loads of possibilities to start writing.

I've been experimenting with some pseudoscience binaurals and isochronic tones though - they seem to really give a near instant effect of slipping into concentration from an aloof state.

But yeah, I normally go on with functional benefit bullets, and a rough outline... And then bloat it up draft by draft. Often many drafts end up in the bin though...

      Regards,

For me if I'm having one of those days where I just can't focus... it's listening to classical music or some sort of instrumental. I find it helps me zero out all distractions and keeps me feeling a bit more energized/focused.

A workout definitely helps for me as well. I'm always most focused right after I get back from the gym.
