Probably in the wrong place but...

So I have this website and I am having a little trouble deciding where to go with it. Now before you ask why this is in the copywriting forum read on a bit. The thing is my website sells backlinking services ( aboutbacklinks.com ). It is not complete yet so dont mind the spelling errors and lack of articles ( I will put those up soon ).

I was wondering where I should take my sales pitch on the front page, ( I was gonna remove the boxes of text move up the packages the the metal header and put a pitch below ). Should I make a sales pitch like the guys on the wso's and cut out the articles, or make it content rich and have a very informative laid back selling method.

I really need some insight into this as im a bit lost as to where to take this thing.

      Since your purpose is to sell something, you should have a sales pitch. Sounds obvious when put it that way, doesn't it? Don't forget to include a strong call to action.

      There's a couple ways you could proceed.

      1. Drive traffic directly to a sales page.

      2. Drive traffic to a squeeze page, build a relationship with your subscribers, and then drive them to your sales page.

      Option #2 usually works better in the long run.

    Hmmm... content creates an air of legitemacy and is great for page rank, a sales pitch page would be good for converting, and they are good if I wanted to do an afiiliate program, however I would never see my page anywhere on google.

      Yep. It's quite a dilemma.

      Go with the sales page and pay for traffic.

      Don't bother with PPC. I'd go with Solo Ads.

        Yup a sales page is probably my best bet, the only thing is the fact that many sites ive been to that sell backlink packages dont. So it might be a bit tricky to figure out.

    It's good that you are selling backlinks packages but are you sure you are doing the right thing? I mean after the penguin update backlinks have less or no value and so the leads who know this might never contact you. You know what you should sell, sell, fans and followers, sell social media marketing packages as this is one marketplace after search engines most of the business owners are looking to dominate.

    well here is a kick in the teeth, I cannot advertise this url on adwords anywere for spam techniques. Well that is a kick in the teeth, I havnt sold anything or gone to any bookmarking sites, I havnt evvven begun to sell anything yet. What bullcrap. Actually I did put my site on 2 ( no lie ) 2 bookmarking sites. Sense I got the dam thing.

    Idk maybe they think Im selling spam techniques who the hell knows all I know is Ill never have my site indexed by google again. The thing is they wouldnt know it was a spam technique unless they bought the dam thing.

    Use a content filled squeeze page to get emails, give away a short free report, and then email the list.

    If you set up the squeeze page correctly, you should be able to use Adwords.
