Thought people might enjoy this rather delicious letter that David Ogilvy wrote, about his rather chaotic copywriting style.

Wow. He definitely has his own unique way of writing. I don't blame him though, especially about the idea of doing most of his work at home.

"I am a lousy copywriter, but I am a good editor."
Many get discouraged after trying to write copy, and not only, and seeing that what comes out is far from good. Only with practice you realize that rarely does anyone, not even the greatest of the greatest, write a good piece from the first try and that editing is an essential part of the process and should not be done in a rush.
