Is my video intro to long?

COPY WRITING

I made a video for a new software I will be soon releasing. But Im concerned that the I dont get to the demo of the software quickly enough. If anyone can check it out and let me know if it moves to slow at the start I would be thankful. Note that the buy links are not active yet and the software is not available yet. Im looking for feedback on the video not trying to pitch the software.

  I watched as much of your video as I could. I found it not only long-winded but quite boring as well. I think it is a do-over for many reasons including:
  
  Lack of branding
  Monotone audio delivery
  Poor audio quality
  Poor quality graphics
  Ill planned scripting

  Great concept. Only thing tho is I have to agree with Marty. Whoever is doing the audio is too monotone. No excitement. should listen to some audiobooks or videos on confident public speaking.. Helped me out a lot in letting go in my videos.
  
  You'll also either want to learn copYwriting or hire one because the beginning didn't have anything to mke the viewer feel that if they exited out, they would miss something huge... Great concept tho

Get to the benefit of the software sooner. I see more people bootup Camtasia and just wing it. Or they go to the backend of the software and do a tutorial instead of selling. This isn't documentation it's sales. Tell me why I should want this , what it does and how it's better than what's out there.

  I have to smile because the comments you guys have made are exactly what I did.
  
  1) I did just boot camtasia up and winged it.
  2) As I watch the video I realised it is a tutorial and not a sales video.
  3) It is so monotone (thats me, and its just how I talk) very boring.
  
  I decided to just hire a company to write a proper sales copy, do a proper video, and have a proper voice over. Much better to have it done right by people who do this sort of thing than to waste all my time doing it wrong. Well worth the cost I think.
