International Spelling Guide (For Noobs)

Hey everyone,

Don't know if this could help anyone else...

Every time I find myself writing copy for UK & AUS clients, I second guess some of the more common spelling differences (optimization vs optimisation for example)...

Found this guide this morning...If you have ever found yourself in the same boat, feel free to bookmark and use as a reference.

That's really a useful wiki entry with lots of examples. So far I didn't run into these problems too much as English is my 2nd language and they made us very aware of these differences in school. Most of the time, though, I automatically end up using American English rather than British.

Anyway, this is a nice reference to double-check!

Granted Word has its flaws, but I installed the British and Aussie versions of spell checker and typically give it a once over with one of those versions activated. I think my overseas clients understand and generally fix what I may miss.
