Sounds way too hard. Most people don't want to do 60 anythings for any reason.

Yeah, I think the 60 things is too much to catch people's attention.

Can you tie them up into some kind of mechanism like a "Life Transformation Blueprint"

Or maybe a rite of passage like a "60 day action plan" or something...?

Other than that, the page looks pretty good.

Just be careful of the images. Some of the people are looking "outside" of the sales page. Always have them looking toward the copy since eye tracking studies show that people follow other people's gaze.

I've made a lot of money in the self-help, LOA markets...

...and I can tell you: You're not far off.

But you are making your program come across as being way more complicated (and intimidating) than it really is.

First of all...

There aren't 60 secrets. You have to boil all of your knowledge, awareness, experience and insights into a cohesive approach; you've got to be capable of communicating your brand, benefits and approach in a single, simple sentence. I don't get the impression you have that kind of clarity, yet.

Your branding is also a bit sloppy.

You don't have a terrible tag, but I don't see the theme woven through your copy very well.

Also...

You make yourself the centerpiece of the branding, which works well with established speakers in the new age market, but I don't sense you're there, yet. So you might want to try focusing the branding and design around your boiled down, ONE secret. (Not 60.)

That being said...

I'm curious how you're driving traffic?

Have you approached other self-help gurus or business owners (in the self help marketplace) about buying advertising on their lists?

Thank you for your suggestions ... regarding your question about driving traffic ...

Maybe I should elaborate a bit more on who I am.

I have already created a very successful website called Hypnosis Downloads | Hypnosis CD's | Learn Self-Hypnosis

However, I have wanted to have a membership site for quite some time.

Anyway, the vast majority of my marketing has been through my subscriber base and customers I have generated over the past 15 years online, and then next thru google and my social media presence.

I do have several self-help gurus I am connected to and do plan some JV's but, I really wanted to find my sweet spot first before going there.

In other words, I want to get my conversion rate up, before sending a bunch of traffic to a site that isn't converting as well as it could.

I am pretty well known in the hypnosis niche ... but not as much in the general self-help market .. (that's next! watch out world!)

Anyway ... here's the thing. I gave up the whole last year (and probably over $50K) in developing these 60 amazing video training modules ... so while now I realize this is too overwhelming ... I still need to figure out a way to get this training into peoples lives because it's great stuff and I worked my butt off to be quite honest and I KNOW how impressed people already are with just the first 5 modules ... so it's a matter of presentation ... I'm thinking perhaps just telling them about the first 5 modules ... and just where it stops, nobody knows ...

I agree with the 60 secrets thing.

But it's a bit too late isn't it? - because you're entire program is based on them.

And I don't think you're going to spend the next 18 months redoing everything.

So... here's what to do.

Either reduce them to 1 2 or 3 and use the rest for your backend products.

And/or...

Niche.

Yes, niche your target audience down to a specific category.

I'm hoping you'll "know" who your best niche is.

And remember you can have several "niches" (a site for each one).

Next your title "Personal Growth Club," your headline and pre-heads aren't powerful enough.

But would you watch and listen to your video.

I saw about 7 great ideas that could be turned into a brilliant title and headlines.

And would you look at your experience, your personal story, your products, and your clients and develop a sensationally good USP.

The better it is - the more money you'll make.

P.S. Could you also pepper the site with lots more testimonials. Have you got or could you get a "celebrity" to give you a stunningly good endorsement.

And while your at it would you get yourself as much media coverage as you possibly can and sprinkle the logo's on the site.

If the voice on the top video is yours not a v/o talent that is your secret weapon, as well as your looks to getting on TV and the radio. Write to them and send pics and an audio.

I noticed the opt in box is way down at the foot of the site. It might be better nearer the top. And of course make sure they get some awesome material.

Put yourself in the shoes of someone who's dealing with a life full of constant obstacles.

This is someone who's probably dealing with a lot of fear.

He or she feels burnt out, confused and beyond frustrated about his/her life.

Being faced with 60 modules will feel overwhelming; it'll feel like more work; it'll make them believe they have so much further to go - before their dreams can become a living, breathing reality.

The Secret movie was successful because it sold one idea/ideal.

The Ester Hicks version really gave people something of value. It made people remember they're more than just flesh and bone; they're not victims to reality - if they accept responsibility for creating it.

The Personal Growth Club covers a massive range of self development techniques... and some people might feel jacked about the sheer variety you're offering...

...but most people want to believe the change they're seeking is... simpler.

I'm not saying you need to trash any of your modules. However, you're offering way too much transparency. It feels overwhelming to read the descriptions. It creates a lot of really basic objections inside of your prospects that don't need to exist - like, "Hmmm, how am I going to find the time to do all of this?" ... "Do I have to engage in all of these modules BEFORE I'll be capable of manifesting the life I really want?" ... "Why is module 36 about manifesting wealth? Why isn't it the first module?"

Again...

The Secret presented LOA as the only thing you need to manifest a successful, happy, healthy life.

But as we all know...

There's so much more to it.

You're offering people the nuances that make applying LOA more effortless and effective.

So what is the totality of your membership called? What is the umbrella name for all your modules - besides The Personal Growth Club? How can you brand ALL of your 60 modules into a single, hope-instilling, prosperity-inspiring name/USP?

You don't need to trash anything.

Your video is top-notch. The concept is solid. The value is obviously there.

Just simplify your membership into a single concept that encompasses the totality of your membership.

Also...

On the old page, you offered the $1 sign up. How many people stayed? What were the numbers?

What made you go with the $9.99 trial instead this time around?

P.S. Your "Success is Within" tag... brings us closer to your underlying concept. What is your "inside-out" approached called?

Once you have the one big idea.

You can chunk the 60 modules down.

12 modules with 5 sections (or vice versa).

10 modules with 6 sections (or vice versa).

and so on.

If you want you can name them with something like - "Power - 123 etc", "Advanced Power -123 etc" and "Super Advanced Power 123 etc" (choose the names you feel are most suitable).

Your people won't feel as overwhelmed.

And often in the self improvement game many think "this or that" won't work for them.

But you can handle this by saying "whatever your problem is we solve it and it's a certainty that you'll find exactly what you need"

Your headline isn't gonna cut it.

I'd personally stay away from talking about the subconscious mind.

Maybe try something like this:

Headline: Discover Why Your Limiting Beliefs Are Sabotaging Your Love Life, Finances, Life Purpose & Happiness
Sub: (And how to effortlessly clease your mind of toxic thoughts.)

Be specific.

Getting an A lister "guru" endorsement is not easy. You'll have to battle to get through their "people" and often find there is a very high price to pay. But you may as well find out what it is.

Just contact them.

It doesn't have to be a self help "guru" - it could be a well known client who has used your stuff.

You could make sure they get hold of it and they'll usually tell you what the "deal" is.

If they get fabulous gains it may not "cost" anything - they'll happily help.

There is another way to be "assumed" to be "guru connected" by your audience without being "connected."

In your copy you quote Napoleon Hill - which is cool but he is long gone.

You can quote "other" modern day celebs and guru's - and viola you're "associated."

Obviously be very careful what you say.


As you said the "media" is your final frontier and your road to fame and fortune.

It helps if you do have a "celebrity" who is raving about you.

Or you can devise a "wow" PR stunt.

In the meantime...

Send them good stuff!

Everyone.

Sooner or later they'll publish something or invite you onto a show.

They are not going to fall over themselves to find you - but you can find them.

Joe and Terry make a very good point.

If it was me I would want to sell the whole thing or in separate programs in a box (or digitally).

If it's made absolutely irresistible - the good people (particularly) in a niche will buy it.

Here's the thing.

If anyone of us buy a health supplement or a weight loss pill and take it for 31 days we have done more than 95% of the population - who don't.

The supplement companies know this - so they try and sell 6 months supply at the beginning (because there's rarely enough re-orders to be profitable).

Now if people aren't going to bother taking a genuine "proven safe and effective" pill for say painful arthritis or morbid obesity which has a rock solid guarantee and actually does work...

What chance is there that they will continue paying month in month out for a "self improvement" course - which may be brilliant - but they'll never know...

Because the majority won't use it.

Sad but true.

All is not lost - the buyers are still glad they have it (it stays on the shelf unopened or on the computer unused) but the good people have the all important glowing feeling that they "have the answer" and one day they might "have a shot and give it a go."

So, Victoria, get all your money upfront.

Underneath the 5 modules you describe, you have that huge chunk of other stuff people receive.

Delete it.

Replace it with a bulleted list of benefits that members will experience - when they utilize the other modules.

Here's what's missing from the copy: specificity.

You've got a great build up, but you still need to articulate the circumstances your members can manifest in their lives that wouldn't be available without joining.

Tell me what I can look forward to - once I've dissolved the limiting beliefs that inhibit my ability to easily create and live my dreams.

You need to build up a larger sense of consequence.

I'd compare it to that of a workout program.

Sure, you don't have the luxury of dramatic before & after pictures.

So you need to create those images in our prospect's imaginations about the lives that'll be within their reach when they engage in your program.

It would be the same if you were just flat out selling your hypnosis services.

Also...

Make sure you make a statement about new content being added - since it's a membership. Prospects want to know their membership will appreciate - otherwise why not just buy the products outright? You need to make the membership's value shine.

Don't get me wrong...

You definitely have something here worthy of testing, but you'll generate much higher conversions if you build a sense of consequence, value and even urgency. After all, we live in the gotta have it now reality. And your prospects can't wait to manifest their dreams. You need to tap into their urgency a little more.

Good job though. I'm impressed with how you're integrating everyone's advice. You're definitely destined for success with this.

If you aimed a taser at them and said "Stop it with that limiting belief!"

They would meekly say "It's no good you'll have to taser me to bits"

So how do you handle this little dilemma?

You let them off the hook.

I like what you're saying in that new portion of copy you added, but it doesn't quite feel authoritative; it feels more like you're asking. I think you can chop it down and get a more laser precision voice.

I love the gym membership for your mind headline. And the following comparison between investing in your body and mind is relevant. Speaking of invest, make sure you use that word, rather than spend.

You want to stress ROI - which are the bullets you added; the experiences that become available because of PGC.

Well I have been suggesting to Victoria to "niche" her audience. And she can do as you said and aim for the good people who want to do what you feel they should -

"put accountability square in their laps I wouldn't spell it out. But it's actually empowering for people to start really accepting that they create their reality."

What concerns me is if people realise they can and should do this - they may not need a major "self help" program - maybe just a nudge so they do keep going in the right direction.

But as you say "testing" brings the answers.

I get what you are trying to do. But using NLP in copy often sounds a bit "clunky"

I would test your original headline - which you and Mark like.

And if the audience loves it - great.

If it doesn't empower and resonate with the good people and manifest* stacks of new members - then use a "It's not your fault" type headline.

These do tend to work extremely well.

Your video is not good. I'd make it full of testimonials...more upbeat and exciting.

You need to scrap the picture of you by the video, it's distracting...plus, it looks like a soft porn type shot.

Your site is set up assuming a visitor knows what the heck limiting beliefs and all that stuff already is.

My overall feeling after visiting your site is that you're trying to realize your dreams by asking for money...I just don't see enough "what's in it for me" to sign up.

I have lots of photos to play with ... so that's never an issue ...

The other question about the photos ... I wonder if I should stick to professional photos or do something more personal ... like photos from my travels or something?

anyway, going to try a different professional one for now ...

So, regarding the 3 levels ... I wonder if since all the free bonuses take up so much SPACE ... maybe just chunk that down to one line?

Your pics - (they don't have to be soft porn) - but if you've got it - for goodness sake - flaunt it.

You can easily do this in a professional way showing your authority and credibility.

Always remember the good people "buy" you first then your products.

So make their day with some alluring photo's - creating the image you want them to see.

Best not to use ones of you galavanting around the globe.

The good people don't mind paying you - but they only care about the life they want - they're not usually thrilled about paying for the life you want.

What about two purchase options:

1) The membership, which includes everything...

2) Let customer buy all of the modules straight out?

You can charge $197 for the modules (maybe chop it down to $97 in the copy) and offer the membership at the normal premium price.

The testimonial idea is sound. I did that for the Bonus Bagging VSL and it's converting like a machine.

My demographic isn't broke. My demographic is very much like me honestly.

Not that I would not want to help the broke .. I absolutely do .. but they're not the people who are typing into "how to meditate" or "personal development" into their browsers. So, I need to speak to MY audience .. which I have been told thru Alexa are above average income, higher eductation, middle aged, slightly lean toward women, oddly with no kids ... I mean pretty much ME ... So, I need to speak to people like I would speak to me because that's who'e attracted to my site.

We ALL want more. Nothing wrong with being selfish at all. I want to give people what they want ... just trying to figure out the best way to present that ... I have plenty to offer and I am willing to do it in a way that doesn't hurt me financially or my reputation or piss off GREAT customers who, by the way have gladly paid $29 per CD for the past 10 years ... now only $9.99 or 3 for $24.99 ... Its a strange proposition.

Anyway... so I had the idea for the testimonials in a video once before (3 years ago) this video would totally need to be redone of course ... maybe I could do something similar though to this? Only 3 years later I could add TON more testimonials ... words and some videos...

Re your idea of the whole package thing ...

It has crossed my mind on multiple occassions ....

I'm sure you guys are familiar with MindValley and people like Burt Goldman who have a system ...

To compare with that ... you get something like 30 audios I believe for around $300 ...

Mine includes 60 20 - 25 minute Videos AND each has a 20 - 25 minute downloadable Meditation ... a PDF Workbook ... and Affirmations ...

I just don't know if I can do this for $97 ...

I sell things on Hyptalk.com that have far less value than this whole process for $299 ... so that would probably be the price point ..

The other thing that I think about doing ... is selling them individually ..

I sell my Law of Attraction videos for $59 at Hyptalk and they do very well at that price .. so I can see easily these modules going for $39 each ...

And also create series ... like the modules 1 - 5 for that $97 price

Modules 21 - 30 all focus on the Law of Attraction ...

I'm really tempted to do something with just those 10 as a package ... and sell the membership on the backend ... I have seen it where people sell the PRODUCTS first and the membership IS the backend of that ...

But, I guess now we're not talking about copyrighting anymore . now we're getting into the system and ugh ... there are so many ways that this can work ...

I just have to figure it out and I will It took me awhile to figure out how to make Hyptalk.com work ... I just wanted this one to happen magically in the first month ... and hey ... it has worked ... I just don't see myself reaching my huge goal by the end of the year at this rate. That's truly my only problem. People are buying memberships. And members are buying products ... I just didn't like it when I started getting some cancellations... that sucked! It's just I see this thing WAY bigger and I just have not been able to step into those shoes yet. I will ...

I guess I was not responsive initially because like I mentioned, I have figured out how to create a business and sell one product at a time. And that's fine and dandy and has made me a good living.

The membership idea is something I have been dreaming about for over 10 years ... I spent literally 80 hours a week, have totally put my whole life on hold ... spent through the majority of my savings to create PGC over the past year and a half.

I can not and will not (ever) ditch the membership idea.

For one, the idea never leaves my mind ... I have had several false starts in the past and something always got in my way.

I know I am meant to have this, in the same way I knew I was meant to have a company like hyptalk, about a year or two before that ever got created.

So ... I sorta thought you were trying to sway me from my membership idea ...

Was I incorrect?

So, in acknowledging Mark, I am thinking really in addition to ... the membership site ... or perhaps as an entry to ... I don't know ... so many ways to go...

But yes, absolutely you get full credit for mentioning that first! Sorry for not acknowledging that fully ...
