Copysniper

Has anyone experience of using Brett Thompson's new software for copywriting called Copysniper? :confused: I know it got launched in Thailand in August and I understand there is a new relaunch happening soon at I believe four times the original price. I did not buy at the original launch as I needed convincing on its capabilities and I don't somehow think I will be spending $1000 for it now .... surely there must be some copywriting WSO which does more or less the same thing at a tiny fraction of the price! :rolleyes: Any thoughts on possible softwares guys?

      I agree, you can't automate a process that requires lots of thinking and creativity

      Why would you want to anyway?

      Sales pages are like snowflakes, there's never going to be two pages that are exactly alike... err, unless you pull some sort of brain power technology that I don't know about.

    Hi, automated copy is an interesting concept - I like to think outside the box, but unfortunately, there is no technology that can produce effective copy. If there was, I'd be out of a job, along with the rest of the world's copywriters.

    But I understand that's not your question.

    Maybe do some research on article spinners? That's the closest thing I know of - and they're all useless beyond appealing to the Googlebot - human readers detest robot writing unfortunately(fortunately for some).

      It's next to impossible to automate how to structure a sales letter...because every copywriter takes a different approach as to how they like to structure their copy.

      And no automated software can have that sort of built in 'creativity'


      Aside from knowing all the elements of how a sales letter needs to be structured, of equal importance (if not more important) is the ability of the copywriter to be able to master the different ways to use many of the magical and powerful expressions, words and colloquial saying in their sales copy.

      There is the 'real skill' in knowing what power words or phrases to use to replace those boring everyday words so many copywriters are guilty of using.

      But understanding and putting into practice this one skill is something that would normally take many years to perfect

      Masters of this skill are copywriting craftsman like Clayton Makepeace and John Carlton, just to name two, who knew exactly what words and phrase to use that would draw the readers into their copy.

      We are in the closing stages of compiling and developing a software application called a Power Words Thesaurus. This software have the ability to take any copy and select out specific words which are boring and mundane and offer up alternate 'power words or phrases' allowing the writer to transform their dull and boring copy, into energetic, spellbinding copy.

      And in case you're wondering....'NO' it's not some useless 'automated' word spinning application.

      But I won't say any more about that here.

      I like that, that was exactly my feeling when I first heard about it. Later investigation showed that the process was semi-automated and came up with power word/phrase suggestions to specific questions that need to be asked in a particular sequence. So the final copy has your 'input' in how the copy is threaded together.

      Agree.

      And what I'm finding is that we're moving towards an era where the human touch is EVERYTHING.

      Being an overly professional corporate drone is on its way out... like the dinosaurs.

      People want to do business with people.

      That rawness, realness, and connection needs to be in one's sales copy.

    I have not used it and would not invest my money in such a thing...

      For what it's worth...

      You may want to take a look at Marlon Sanders' Pushbutton Salesletters if you want sort of automation. I think it's kind of template based.

      I haven't tried it personally, especially since it won't work on a Mac, but it's "only" $100 or so... I tend to like Marlon's stuff.
