Has anyone seen this yet?

Its going viral pretty fast on youtube. I checked it at 3pm and it had 800,000 views, only 3 hours later its almost up to 2 million.

I have to say this is one of the best ads I've ever seen before.

What do you guys think?

  As I was watching the commercial, I thought, this guy is putting his life on the line... based on how well the drivers and the trucks perform.
  
  Then at the end, these words popped up on the screen: "This test was set up to demonstrate the stability and precision of Volvo Dynamic Steering".

Yesterday, the folks at Huffingtonpost(dot)com put a headline about the ad, a photo from the ad, and a link to it - on the front page of their site. That is probably what made it go viral.

Only 1:16 and it made all that fuss. But yea the huffingtonpost exposure sure does make the biggest difference.

It's awesome. It's also nice to see that some copywriters realize nothing in the world beats the power of a dramatic demonstration. Makes me think of the Otis Elevator Company.

I think some of the power may be lost on people who aren't the target market (truck drivers and trucking companies) and basically those who have never tried to back up anything connected to a trailer. But that's not important because they aren't buyers.
