Which Title IS The Catchiest?

Hello Warriors...

I need some brain storming for the title...

I have this 30 page book that shares case studies of 5 millionaires who made their million selling something that others regard as trash...or would hardly take notice of....

So which one of these titles do you recommend I go for?

1- The Ridiculous Million Dollar Idea
2- Your Ridiculous Million Dollar Idea (The Italian Version is running with this title)
3- The Million Dollar Garbage
4- Ideas that Turn Trash into Gold Cash (my mum came up with this )
5- His Trash Is Her $Million Cash (That's the Current Title I'm running with)

thanks

    Hi there -

    Options 1-3 are horrible.

I would condense #4 into simply...

    Trash Into Cash

With a subtitle that talks about it being case studies of millionaires.

    Good luck,

      Thanks Marcia,
I am thinking of adding $Million, What do you think of "Trash into $Million Cash"?

I don't like any of them, but I do think you have a good hook.

It sounds like there's a story behind it, so why not something like....

    Trash into Cash

How an [underdog statement about the story's hero**] Turned Garbage into a Million Dollar Business

** This would be something that makes the reader think "if they did that, so can I."

I would prefer this over the others.

  • Marcia and Seth have "titled" it.

I always get a bit concerned about the "$million" thing. It's almost a cliche.

I know its a sort of magic number. But for many it's unreal. Too far out of their comfort zone (they believe others can make it, but not them).

You can still say it - but add a line that says something like...

"Is a million too much? Then how about $100,000 or even $25,000? - sounds good? - then read on..."

True, that's why I'd include the underdog factor. I've tested it in hundreds of ads. It works.

People in the biz opp niche are persistent dreamers, optimistic ( to a fault even ) and they love to see the underdog truimph. If your story is true and you can make it believable, million $ will work.

    thanks

I find the only one that appealed to me was this one - without the word "gold" I think adding gold is too much.

  • The unthought of path to 7 figures

5 cases of people earning 7 figures through politically incorrect ways

5 case studies of self made millionaires through the disregarded walk of life

5 case studies of self made millionaires, if the path were a snake it would have bitten you by now

I agree, million sounds really used, 7 figures sounds intriguing to me. But its all what you feel is great.

  • Yes, the underdog bit works. And I did say keep the $million.

But for those who still can't quite grasp it, I would mention some lower numbers.

I've tested it too, and I've always had a spike in response when I "acknowledge" those who just can't believe they can hit the big money.

P.S. It was 108 years ago (give or take) at a Kennedy seminar when he said "....in a "Get Rich" Promo - the problem is many believe it's all true, and that others in their position can do it, they just don't believe that they can make huge amounts"
