One product ecommerce site making big money!!

Are one product ecommerce sites worth it. I have came across some on flippa making good money. With a half decent product and armed with an Adwords budget would it be worth pursuing?

    I would say it could very well work. You must have a good product. What it comes down to is if you profit or not and how. For instance if you have a product and break even making the sale what do you do? Raise the price, upsell, rebill or something else?

    I haven't had success with stores with low product numbers. But that's not to say it won't work. Perhaps you'll just need a different content/marketing strategy.

    We've found that our stores with 200+ products gives us enough 'natural' content to make them naturally attractive to the search engines, and thus gives us good organic rankings.

    If the store only has a few products then it's harder to build out the 100s of pages you need to attract organic traffic.

    So, perhaps you'd need to approach it by building out Private Blog Networks (might be getting pinged by Google at the moment), press releases, coupon codes etc.
