How does dropshipping work step by step. Do I need to buy anything?

I doubt anybody is going to give you very detailed step by step instructions, for free.

Maybe check Clickbank for a course on it.

I will say, be careful about which wholesale lists you buy - a lot are outdated.

This post isn't going to go over well. You essentially want people - some of whom have spent years 'figuring it out' - to hand you a step-by-step guide to create an entire, successful business. Sorry, but the world just doesn't work like that.

Have you done any work to better understand and prepare yourself for what you may actually be getting into? It seems, from your post, that you plan on to just put up a website with dropship products and (am I reading this right?) then go to some magical site to buy people that will order from your site.

You have a long, long way to go. The good news is that business is a fairly simple concept.

Pretty much all businesses come down to two things.

1. Having a product(s) or service(s) that people want
2. Selling that product(s) or service(s) at a profit

So, step one: What niches have you researched and what products have you identified?

It is FOCUSED on Shopify - and it is step by step. That doesn't mean you will run right through the course and be done....you may have to stop many times to learn small basics you don't know but google search will help with that. That's normal for someone totally new to working online.

You buy the product only when the customer purchases from you. The issue that most of the transactions are made through paypal which is know for having the infamous paypal money hold so basically you have to have your own money at the start.

I think you need to learn a lot. Better you do some research and read few articles to get basic idea.

Most people who are doing drop shipping chinese products are mostly advertising on Facebook and on Adwords. Social traffic these convert better than search. But , i recommend running Google Ads shopping campaigns with social traffic.

If you are a beginner start with a niche store you relate to and have massive audience that will help you to scale more.
Go on aliexpress and search for potential winning products, have a list of 5-10 potential winning products and 2-5 upsells that relate to what you are advertising for.
Then buy a domain name for your site which is worth $1 for a year.
Create a facebook page and instagram page and post niche related posts. Make every fourth or fifth post your products that way people won't get bored from just seeing product pictures, they follow for value and not to buy something.
Then make business manager, ad manager and advertise from there, to start facebook ads I recommend having at least $700-$1000, because that way you have a room to test more products to find winners and then scale them.
You can also start using instagram influencers to promote you, depends on how good your niche related pages are out there on instagram.
