I'm looking for alternatives to paypal. What are the
best options for payment processing other than paypal?

There is no such thing as "The Best" since people's opinion will be divided over what is good and bad. Just do a search, there are tones of them. What are your personal requirements feature wise?

I was just reading another thread there about paypal and somebody said paymate.com is a good alternative. I have never tried them myself but they might be a viable alternative for you

Haiku Online Business is of course the best eCommerce store to use. It works with Paypal, Google Checkout and pretty much all major payment gateways. It can also process payments manually if you don't have a payment gateway.

One of the big ones that lots of big companies use is authorize.net, You should check them out.

      Hi,

One of the problems with Paypal (not paypal pro) is their limited ability to handle recurring payments. Yes, they accept them, but try plugging that into a third party and you get into a huge administrative mess which is almost impossible to automate in terms of cancellations etc.

We eventually managed to find a fantastic merchant - voice-pay.com which we run with 1shoppingcart. No problems at all and very powerful. Perhaps niot quite as good as infusionsoft but $200 per month cheaper so I'll take it. :-)

  • I like Plimus myself as of lately. It allows great customization to your entire shopping cart thing.

I'd use several. The more options, the better. And if one flakes out, you are not stopped while finding a new one.
