Getting started in dropshipping- website setup advice needed

Hi all

I have found a good supplier and done the keyword research

next step . get a website up and running

can anyone recommend good premium software to use( website templates) or others,what key features should they have?

what tools are critical to run a good dropsite business?

im thinking about newsletter feature , product reviews available, social media enabled..

any others ?

also good books to read/ articles.. all is welcome

    This is a tough question. The answer, in part, depends on exactly what you want your site to do. It sounds as if you are after a platform that is an integrated content management system and shopping cart. You may want to consider having such a system designed and coded for you by someone in your local area. However, there are many shopping cart solutions available from the free, open source solutions, such as Presta Shop, OSCommerce, Zen Cart, Magento, Open Cart, Agora, and Joomla also integrates with VirtueMart shopping cart. Since these are open source, you could conceivably start with one of these platforms as a sort of template and then hire coder/designer to modify it to your specifications. Two other possibilities you might be interested in are Click Cart Pro and Europacart. My personal favorite solution would be to have the site custom designed and coded.

    I would go with a Yahoo! store. It lends instant credibility since it's part of yahoo's network. People that trust a site, tend to buy more as well. There are quite a few other things, you can do but getting a yahoo store, is what I would start with.

    I would use Zencart or OScommerce. It can be found in most hosting control panel these days, easy to install and use does the job
