Youtube Product Videos

I was told if I can get my products on youtube and do a bunch of videos--this could be a successful sales strategy. It will be videos of just the products--not a person in. Set with music and text. I was thinking about creating some videos===but how well does this convert with ecommerce? Let's say my product is sunglasses, hypothetically. Well the video looks great--close ups, zoom in etc.. this program I found does it all, sets it to music, adds in my text. 5 minutes. I am done. I add some call to actions etc...is the right way to go about using Youtube? I did a quick video for fun. I can see I could potentially create a bunch of these for each product.

But how many people are searching youtube to buy sunglasses or what gadget you are selling? How does this specifically relate to ecommerce?

Thanks!

I used an online software I found---but I am not going with this one. Still researching a few--Animoto? Not going with this one due to commercial license issues. If that is what you are asking...

Videos can be a powerful tool to get people to your website. Quite a lot of people have videos created about a product and/or service, and then direct those people to your actual website.

In the past I would create reviews of Android Tablets, and then put the link to my website into the description if they wanted more information. This can be applied to any subject, niche, or project. If you can market a video well, the people finding it, will be highly engaged in what you are telling them; as they actively found your video through optimized search keywords.

The goal isn't to get a video listed in YouTube per se, it's to get it listed into Google. That is where most of your traffic will come from. A highly optimized youtube video, if marketed well, can show up high in the search results. Imagine having a video be #3 for "Sunglasses", or "Widgets for Sale" That would be quite powerful right?

So what seems to be the best platform or software for creating videos? I have a bunch of product images and I want to basically create a video highlighting different categories.

I thought there was a wso that was software that would create videos using images from a folder and that you could create slides between the images and randomly use royalty free music....anyone remember the name of the software?

Hampton, the real juice starts to come in when your youtube videos start ranking on the Google Serps instead of on youtube. People on youtube aren't really looking to buy something, but many people on google might be.

Especially if they type in: "Buy yourproduct"

So you might be thinking, ok well then you could just do some articles and seo them to rank, buuut the big difference is that youtube itself has a lot of authority in google (google owns it ) so this automatically makes google want to rank your videos a lot higher than many other sites that have spent fortunes to rank.

Some people also prefer videos over reading some article, so they would be tempted to go watch ur video first then see what everyone else has to offer.

You just need to do some keyword research, figure out what the buyer mode keywords are that you want to target then make a video with that keyword in the title and description and a link to your money site.

Then build some cheap links to the videos, no need to worry about it being sandboxed, youtube's authority is way too high for that.

If you want more sales immediately then you make a great video and put it on the product's page. (there will be an increase on conversion)

If you want more traffic which should also result in more sales then you upload the same video( and other promotional ones) to youtube and build a channel branded with your store's name.

Mostly people are using YouTube for entertainment so there are ver low chances of sale on YouTube but of course you can use YouTube for products review.
