How to: Multichannel intergration

In the past I have had a webstore, amazon store, and ebay store all running that the same time with the same products.

Companies like channeladvisor can help you to post your products in the different channels, however there is still a lot of data massaging to be done, and it is expensive.

The inherent problem is that even though you have the same products and the same product information for those products in the physical world. In the virtual world the information needs to be provided in different formats. Which requires some data mapping.

It's easy enough to do yourself, but will require sometime to set up. I suggest taking the time to do it properly.

I'm not sure what CMS you are using for your website, but you'll probably know how to post items there.

In regards to Amazon. You will want to become very familiar with the term "ASIN"
In their help search bar, search for "listing loader". This is an excel file with macros which can help you to match UPC numbers or MPNs to Amazon ASIN numbers. Or for those more tech savy you can always access their API

In regards to Ebay: You will want to get familiar with the term "EPID" . They use this as there unique ID. There are ways you'll be able to bulk look up EPIDs. That will give you a great jump start on the information to load.

Finally a nice neat way to tie it all together is using a software called ECC (I am not affiliated in anyway). It is a way to pull order / shipping information from all of your channels and compile it onto one dashboard. This is not free, but I remember it being very affordable, and will save you from having to log into each sales channel whenever you need to check things out.
