A new and improved dropshipping search engine

A friend and I are thinking of creating a new search engine for wholesalers and dropshippers.

There's already a few sites out there in this niche, like Worldwide Brands and SaleHoo, but we think they're pretty antiquated and we believe we can build a platform that's much easier to use.

We wanted to get a gauge for what people that have used these services think, as far as what they dislike about them and would want to be improved.

Any other thoughts related to wholesaler or dropshipping directories are of course welcome

    Never used Salehoo, but you can find out what I think about Worldwide Brands in my review here, The Truth About Worldwide Brands - The College CEO. My advice would be to figure out how to bring a lot more value than WWB does. A lot of the sites in their database don't even exist anymore and it's just dated.

    You could offer legitimate free information and resources to your members instead of trying to upsell at every possible opportunity. I'd also recommend being able to narrow down the searches according to where the suppliers are located and where they ship to and the ability to submit reviews for the different suppliers.
