Niche Site Idea? Advice Please

I have always been an entrepreneur that has been product based until I started reading on internet marketing and understanding affiliate programs and such. There is really a wide array of ways to make money. Over the last couple years I have asked how I could jump on this bandwagon or even create something new.
I have a background in Ebay Sales/ Importing/ and Local business. My bread and butter is my local business not Ebay or importing. I have consistently made $80,000 a year with very little work. This business is an offline business. I have consistently been asked by friends how I make money and that they would love to be in my shoes of not working in a factory or working 9 to 5. I thought to myself last night about creating a website on this niche business that I run. Offering a wide array of videos on every aspect of the business so other people can share in my success. My question is...

> Is this something I should promote and give away for free and try to get advertising money from
> Is this something that I should consider offering as a 1 year membership for a 379.00
I have alot of knowledge in this area and could offer alot of services that I learned in my last 10 years for example e books/training/or various products needed to run this particular business. I am not going to share this business idea because obviously I dont want to be competing with the next person. Any advice would helpful.
How would you go about this?

    I think you have a good idea.

    Here's my suggestion:

    - Sell it as your own branded product. Not some WSO.
    - Sell it full-on. No upsells, no OTO nonsense.

      I wish I could help you find one thread here to point you in the right direction and show you all the steps. Consider a blog about your business. Promote 10 steps in your business to get them on a list (Free give away) .

      Build the list with an offer about the business. Create a Paid Subscriptions newsletter than more up sells like e-book, paid inner circle than coaching. Basically building a sales funnel .. Hope this helps

      Yes it sounds like a good idea to me. I would imagine that you create materials, such as EBooks, that can sell for the price you decide. I also imagine that you could have subscription service for people who want to access your expertise, and perhaps include weekly webinars for these people that you could then chop up and make parts of the webinars free video previews to entice people to buy or subscribe. I wouldn't leave money on the table though, in whatever you decide I think that selling advertising and using pay per click on free parts of your side would be a no brainer, except that you wouldn't want to deviate people from you to one of your advertisers unless there is some form of kickback, or if you decide to advertise for donations to charitable causes without you receiving money for the space.
