Anyone using magento 1.8.1

I currently have sites running on 1.7.2 with no problems however I am setting up another site and considering 1.8.1.. has anyone been using it? and have you found any major bugs ? I know that 1,8.0 had problems so I am not sure if I should go with the new version or not..

    Yes- you should go to 1.8.1. It has several security and performance enhancements.

    However, test the upgrade on a development system before upgrading your production store.

    Its always best practice to upgrade to latest version coz of enhancements in security fixes and other features. But make sure you have a backup of your site before you upgrade.

    Im using but im facing problem in seo
    When I type VENFILIA the #1 result showing is Facebook page and my site homepage does appear at all,and when type VENFILIA.COM the site meta title appears twice only Google.Please help me to Resolve this problem

      Hi abhireddy,

      I took a quick peek at you website and see that you do not include the term "venfilia" in text anywhere on the homepage, except once in the footer with tiny text at the bottom of the page. Nor is the term included in your page title. You have done little to optimize your web page for that term, Google is just respecting your choice to not optimize for that term.
