Google Analytics flat lined on me. GA was delivering some great numbers until about 18 days ago. At that time, I had 161 total visits. Now, the number of total visits has gone down to 104? I don't understand at all. I can't believe that I would have absolutely no visits at all. It has gone flat line, and no way to bring it to life. I need the paddles quickly. My internal blog stats suggest otherwise.

This has happened to another blog of mine. GA was measuring fine. And from one day to the next, it just stopped. No explanation. No reason. Just gone. Reminds me of a girl I dated in high school, but that's another story.

Where did you install the GA code? Did your theme have a spot for it, or did you hard-code it into the header file?

Double check that the GA code didn't get erased or moved. That's probably what happened.

I'm here to second that emotion. It's a lot more likely that something happened with your code, as opposed to your traffic actually dropping off that steeply in such a short amount of time.

      Breathe easy and soldier on.
