You don't have any social media? Twitter, Facebook, Instagram? 50% of my traffic comes from these websites. How are you acquiring the customers? They won't just magically show up to your website

First thing I would do is work on the design of your website.

"herbalfront" is what exactly? What products do you sell? Where do you ship? What are the benefits of the products and ordering from you? None of this is on your home page. No upfront way to contact you either and no social media links that most shoppers expect these days.

Your product pages are sparse with very little information and badly formatted. Are your products organic? What do they contain? How are they made? Why should I pick your fish oil over someone elses for example? Doesn't even say how many ounces you get. What little info you do have on product pages is filled with typos and bad grammar.

I would honestly never purchase from your site.

You need to perfect your on-page search engine optimization.

        - Your page title is vague.
        - Improve your meta description.
        - Optimize your HTML for H1 and H2 headers.
        - Social Media is key like someone mentioned earlier. Try to get a Twitter, Facebook, Youtube... account.
        - Link building is key to referral traffics.
        - Do a keyword research and improve your on-page / off-page search engine optimization. Getting an experienced SEO guru is key for getting better ranks on Google Search Engine Result Page for those keywords.

This website seo audit would have cost you but you are getting it for free because I like to help people like you. If you need some good SEO services I can recommend few to you.

I think this is quite harsh but it's the blatant truth!

Didn't mean to be harsh, but I see this sort of thing all the time. People fail to realize they have to educate the customer on what they are buying - just because you, the site owner, knows your products and thinks they are the best things ever, doesn't mean they are going to sell with little or no description. It takes work to build a good ecommerce site and constant refinement even after you think it is good. I'm always working to improve my sites and try to step back and look at them from a customers point of view which is what my questions in my original post were intended to do - get the op thinking along the lines of answering their potential customers questions.

There's definitely a lot of great advice in this thread, and I think you can see two pretty clear starting points emerging:

Your on-page presence, and your social presence.

SEO is a huge thing when it comes to getting traffic to your site. Adding a bit more copy and content to your site might really do wonders when it comes to getting your store to show up in the search results.

Creating a blog and a social community around your site can really help, as well. You can easily write/curate content for a blog that relates to a healthy lifestyle and other topics relating to herbal supplements. Curating a lifestyle type of blog is a great way to market your business -- ultimately, you wind up providing free content, which puts you in a position of trust and authority within your niche.

It's important, though, to make sure that you're putting a lot of high-quality content out there. Keep readers coming back with insightful and/or entertaining articles that pertain to healthy living and a good diet. Do the same on social media. From Facebook to Pinterest, your niche is PRIME for that kind of thing.
