fulfillment by amazon: product not on amazon

Hello All

I have just started looking into FBA. and I have a few questions.

I thought I would give it a try with some stuff I have around the house. About 5 or 6 years ago, Walmart clearanced out a bunch of brand name golf balls. These golf balls new sell for upwards of $30.00 per box. But, when I search Amazon with the upc, they are not on the site. Can I add them to the site

    Yes, you can create a listing for it. You will need a pro account to create a listing.

    You will need a UPC, but of course if the item is brand new in the retail package, the UPC barcode is on the box.

    You will need a 1000 pixel image with the product on a clear white background. See if you can find a stock photo online from another online marketplace to use.

    If not, you can take your own. Clippingmagic.com is useful for removing backgrounds.

    Since you will be the first person to send a product in from the new listing, it will take Amazon 3-4 days to investigate the product listing to approve the product for FBA.

    Well, how about the FBA in Amazon.in which means in India? is the same procedure or any additional steps to be followed on .in FBA?
