LOW CTR

I have been getting low CTR from aweber lately, anyone know what could be going on?

I went from 20 clicks on average to 6 if I'm lucky.

    You almost act as if something is from with aweber.

    No, something is wrong with your funnel and with your relationship with your list.


    Who is your target market?
    What did your optin page say? Can you link it?
    Did you show them offers right after they opt'd in, if so what?
    What was your free offer?
    How many autoresponder messages do you have built up?
    how often do the send?
    Are you giving away more free value on a average basis?
    Even more importantly, are you building trust and credibility?
    Are you constantly split testing email subjects and CTR?
    Are you converting your list from freebie seekers into buyers or
    just blindy blasting them with any affiliate offer you can find?

    I could ask a lot more questions....that will be a start...for now.

    It's (probably) not Aweber's fault if you have a low CTR

    Look at TakenAction's list and go from there. Sure hope you already have at least some of these questions answered...

    Who is your target market?
    What did your optin page say? Can you link it?

    Study in deep your audience. Psychology and demography. Rewrite your landing page and emails you send to your subscribers

    Hi Tariqsal,

    You need to be waaaay more precise in order for people to help you. You need to first come up with your own educated guess about why your CTR is down.

    Right now, it just sounds like you're blaming it on Aweber, which you should elaborate a bit further. The best we can do is to give you very generic answers based on what your question MIGHT imply.

    In any case, yes, do the things above, and you will see great results:

    Do your homework: research HEAVILY on your target audience. What are their NEEDS? Pains? Likes and Hates? Where do they live? Gender? Age? Income level? Etc.

    When you have the right audience in your list, always give away valuable content before you sell.

    Same problem here for a few weeks now.
    Seems like this happening every year in April.
    Last year it didn't drop that much though.
    Getting only 20% of what I used to get before that.
    My list is always getting a lot of new daily subs.
    Its the biggest sudden drop i had in the last few years.
    Tried with fresh domains aswell and its the same.
    Either they changed something this time or somebody started filtering aweber mails.
    I've heard the same happen to other people lately.
    No clue how to solve this now.
