hey,

One of my list: Just single-optin (never tried double optin)
UK, Bing PPC, optin rate: 16% CPC: $0.12
Average open rate: 20% Click rate: 5% (For the first 2 weeks)Average open rate: 20% Open rate: 12% Click rate: 3% (For the first 4 weeks)

I have had list in the make money online niche with 20% to 30% open rates. It all comes down to value and a catchy headline.

Varies on the niche. My health/beauty list got around 10-15% open rate, whereas the IM list got around 5-7%.

hey Bobby...

1) daily emails

2) entertaining and related to the niche....

3) soft sells (no hard sell stuff)

4) drop people who don't open the emails for a good while...

most of my emails go into the inbox and not the promotion folder....

my income on my main list went from around 600 bucks to about 2200 a month since I started that program...

now it is time to scale up....

This is what happens when you build a good quality double opt-in lists.... Very Impressive results...

For IM niche 20% to 25%.

For non IM niche 30%+

Facebook, 0.30 cents cost per conversion, single opt-in (45% squeeze page conversion rate), open rates in an area of 30% (not IM niche).

MMO Niche
Single optin 7%-11% (on a 45 day sequence)
Double optin 20%-32% (just started testing this) ---54% on welcome email

I'm also getting a higher Click rate with the double optin as well.

No offense, but I wonder if it is really worth it to sacrifice the total number of optins when you go with Double.

Single optin...fluctuates between 13-15% per broadcast. My autoresponder emails are way higher and I get 20-30% on those easy.

Its a good open rate... Well the over all open rate of an email campaign depends upon the following...

List quality
email delivery
The type of ips assigned

So under considering these 3 points in mind 20-30% is an excellent open rate...
