If I've got a squeeze page and i'm offering a free pdf, but the plan is to then follow up with offers by other people, do any of you have a specific sequence you use all the time?

Can you give me any advice?

For example,

Email 1: Thank you for signing up
Email 2: Here is a paid offer
Email 3: Check out this video
Email 4: Here is another paid offer
Email 5: Check out this free thing?

What's the most amount of paid products I could promote in a year without it being too salesy?

I personally sell at my 4th email . I like to build trust and some kind of rapport first before selling. And I think in your case it will be harder to sell early because you are not selling your own product.
You basically want people to buy a product of someone they don't know based on a recommendation from another one that they also don't know (yet)

    That's a fair point.

So I guess my next question would need to be, how do I build trust first, especially in the inital 3 or 4 emails?

Sounds good, but I like to funnel them to my membership system, free to join, and inside is where I funnel them to members area, with all links to products, this way you can setup your members area to contain more then one product, you can do something like this, 5 sections on one niche and more if you need to, that is my trick.

Do you charge people to access your member area?

Isn't it just making the process more complicated?

I know Paid Memberships Pro is free.

No this is why, my optin from is not just a optin form, it is a membership optin, to my funnel system, I never send out affiliate product on my autoresponder emails, also my optin form does not look like a membership optin form, many tricks here.

Also to get many sales, you need a super nice landing page or Website just for that one product, and you should know a lot about the product, marketing is king, traffic will come.

But website must be super nice,

I never use Free stuff, this is my real business for over 20 years, when it comes to membership systems, there is many, but emember is one of the best, for doing custom things like I do.
it's like $97.00 for bundle, with estore shopping cart.

Yeah but getting back to my original question, do you always use a specific sequence of emails in your email follow up series?

    Promote EVERYDAY !

    if

You have a true sense of offering Value, whether that be specific help to problems or supplying what I call infotainment and engagement.

You can always use PM links at end of your emails to NOT be too intrusive.

    It works well

Yeah but say you wanted to create a year long follow up sequence you'd need 365 different products if you were promoting every day?

Not necessarily. If you had 10 products, you could offer each one multiple times. However, you probably don't want to sell in every message in your follow-up sequence.

        Why 365 ?

It takes up to seven times for a person to see an Offer before they buy.

If you have a handful of very high quality products you can switch in and out. And continue too add more as time goes by.

Under no circumstance would you want to have 365 products in your offering in one year.

Actually more than likely that would just perpetuate Shiny Object Syndrome

ok i've got a follow up sequence

i'm promoting 4 products all in the same niche by the same guy

and i'm promoting some other products too.

Email 1: Thanks for signing up!
Email 2: Heres the link again in case you missed it
Email 3: Product 1 - First Sales Email
Email 4: Product 1 - Second Sales Email
Email 5: Product 1 - Third Sales Email
Email 6: Product 2 - First Sales Email
Email 7: Product 2 - Second Sales Email
Email 8: Product 3 - First Sales Email
Email 9: Product 3 - Second Sales Email
Email 10: Product 3 - Third Sales Email
Email 11: Product 3 - Fourth Sales Email
Email 12: Product 3 - Fifth Sales Email

What do you think of this sequence?

Do you think I should add in some "friendly" "non sales" emails in between the product sales emails?

      hello, here's my 2 cents
      after the thank you mail

#2 = ask them if they were able to download

#3 = ask them a specific topic that they want you to teach

#4 = talk about a specific problem in your niche, then either pitch

#5 to #10=pitch for the same product plus content

      #11 = pitch only

      rinse and repeat

      hope this helps
