How to handle promotion of expensive items
I have a large list that is neglected. Here's my latest thought after some feedback from this site.
I'm going to send them 2-3 pieces of content to "revive" interest and establish trust. When they joined the list they got 6-8 mailings over a few weeks so they know a little about me.
After these 2-3 mailings, I plan to have a copywriter craft an email promoting a somewhat expensive item ($300-500).
My question is should I direct them to a website for a comprehensive review (written by copywriter) or simply send them to affiliate site to buy? If website, should I review other models both more expensive and cheaper?
