Do you think that Solo Ads still work?

Hi Warriors!

I recently bought a lot of Solo Ads traffic from different sellers.
One problem: After I got leads, seems like my prospects never open my emails ever again
More than 90%

Did you ever face it? I did not only bought traffic from only one seller.
My squeeze page got conversions about 50%.

My emails, the title of the emails are related to the information, product promoted on squeeze page

What do you think the problem came from? Thank you!

I have never used solo ads, but plan to do some tests in the very near future.

I have a few questions that come to mind.

Did the solo seller send a generic message that they know generates clicks or did they send a message you created?

Was your squeeze page blind or did it provide specific info regarding what you were actually promoting?

After someone subscribed did they get access to your lead magnet from a thank you page or did they have to receive an email to get access to it?

If you sent a message, what was the open / click rate?

Was the lead magnet relevant to the offer you are promoting?

Were you promoting your own offer or some kind of affiliate offer?

If it was an affiliate offer, did you ask the solo sellers the last time they sent a mailing for someone promoting the same offer?

What was the open rate on your first follow up message after they got the lead magnet?

They absolutely do work - if you buy your ads from the right places.

Are you using double opt-in or single? You're likely to get fake emails on your list if you don't require confirmation. It's easy for someone to enter a fake or rarely used address just to get your freebie and then forget about you.

If you are using single opt-in you could include a statement like

Enter your best email below to have X immediately sent to your inbox.

If they have to enter a valid address to receive your lead magnet you should get minimal fakes.

One thing that email marketers and business people in general don't realize is that the brunt of the effort should go into the sales pages (their copywriting, which is their marketing) BEFORE any traffic hits the page to properly sell their message/ stuff.

Solo ads / email traffic always works with the right message / sales pitch.

Even with the crappiest traffic - let's say people uninterested and bored literally in their cars in rush hour traffic - still notice relevant and witty billboards that strike them in some significant way.

The bottom line here is that everyone should concentrate on getting their marketing down first before they present it to their customers.

People throw all kinds of traffic at pages that don't resonate at all with anyone.

But when you send any traffic to a good page you will still get some type of response.

That's what marketing is; getting a response from your audience, often doing so in a creative or unexpected way.

it depends where you buy your solo ads from... if you buy it from solo ads marketers who bombard their lists every day with solo ads then probably the prospects would be tired of it and not willing to give anyone a chance

Solo Ads work, as i proved in one of my lasts thread.

But you have to choose the seller wise.

Try to go to Warrior Forum Classified Ads -- type solo ads and look for the seller.

They are reputable, cause you can either post a bad review and they obviously don't want it.

    Also try traffic4me.com

They do work but you must research about the seller first before purchasing one and you must also have right message on this one. Check the reviews first before purchasing one.

    Questions:

Where did you buy the solo ads from?

How many subscribers do you have?

How many emails have you sent to the list since you got them?

If you only but say 5 solo ads 500 clicks total and have only 250 subscribers, only mailed them twice the yeah open and clicks are going to be horrible.

    I buy solos on Udimi.

    Email every day.

Average open rate between 5-10% CTR 1-5% make sales every time I have something to sell.

So in my opinion solo ads still work

Facebook has solo ad testimonials groups to assess reputable solo ad
sellers where feedback is given on the vendors.

Udimi is also a good site as it is regulated to avoid cowboys who
sell low quality solo ads. Feedback is give by the purchasers
and sellers who fall short of the standards will be deleted from
    the site.

Good vendors will deliver clicks from tier 1 countries such as USA,
Canada, UK, etc. Countries such as India, China are reluctant
    to buy.

When purchasing from a vendor for the first time you should start
with a small number of clicks 50-100 to assess the quality of the
    leads.
