How do you combine your marketing lists?

Everyone says the money is in the list. They say in order to be in marketing you must have a list.
I agree with all of this, however I have a question.

We as marketers market several different things.

For instance, I have a product offering for SEO, another for Web Hosting, yet another for Domain Flipping.

OK, I have 3 different lead capture pages, going to 3 different offers.

So, do you eventually take all of your leads and put them into 1 master list to send your customers more offers in the future or do you keep individual lists for each product that your promote and when you have a new product to promote, do you go back to your individual list and send your offer?

If you do have a master list that you send your offers to, how do you set it up and how do you get your customers from the other lists over to your master list

    Some autoresponders will allow you to import lists. Some require you to get permission to do that but if your lists are all in the same platform there shouldn't be an issue.
    I never considered combining lists because they are each unique and different lists for different niches. It does take longer to send the same product to different lists but what if you have a product that relates to just a particular niche then you want to keep them separate.

      That is what I was wondering how marketers managed their lists. It seems that there are some marketers that have a product every week, so it must be a full time job managing the number of list, so having a master list would make sense, but keeping them separate makes sense also especially if they are marketing vastly different products.

      I appreciate your input.

    Do you already use any type of email service? Most of them will allow you to import lists and combine or create different groups.

      Yes, I do, not sure if they allow importing to a master list or not, but will check it out.

    i don't think that they would not allow you .
    Try using R programming to do this.

    I've been doing email marketing for 18 years.

    I would keep your lists separated. In your case, they are all related to MMO. So you should be able to send other offers relevant to MMO.

    The reason why I would keep them separated is so you can see how specific offers perform. You may find that certain offers perform well with the SEO list, but not with the web hosting list, etc...

    If you combined them into a single master list you would never know this.

        You should always initially separate your data by the source that it comes from.

        That way you know which sources produce results and which don't.
