ESP Help

I'm trying to setup an account with SendGrid. I use SEOHost for hosting. I've added 3 new CNAME but it's been several hours and I keep getting an error message.

How long does it typically take to propogate? SendGrid has not responded to any support tickets. Me seo host did, they even added the CNAME records.

I'm brand new to email marketing. Is there a better ESP to use that is easier to setup, or do they all require DNS changes like this?

    UPDATE:

    It finally confirmed today. I'm posting in case another newbie comes a long and reads this. It took almost 24 hours to propogate...

    Now my issue is hitting spam with gmail. I can inbox with yahoo so I'm trying to figure out why I can't get through with gmail...
