Why did you start 'building a list'? Surely you had something you want to sell or something to say. Do you have an online business to promote? Are you selling products or services?

I am running a financial information blog like credit card, bad credit, loan , personal finance

I dont have a ebook or i dont hae any products or services to sell

The reason for collecting email was totally different, i was just doing some experiment to see if users are putting their information to receive information and they are

But now where do i find a email series which i can send these users to see if i can monetize

You don't find email series you design one. You'll have design the entire journey on how you want your customers to engage with the brand.
For instance, a brand might want to welcome the user when they purchase or signed up. In the following email sequence they might want to share the use cases of the product/service. They can also offer discounts or update them about any feature they might have added. Lastly, the would want to re-engage with the users that have churned or re-activating the users that are sitting idle.

It's a hard question to answer without being familiar with your blog and its audience. If you've not built out an avatar of sorts on the kinds of folks who read it (demographics, pain points, questions they ask about finance, life stage they're in, etc etc) or gathered intel on some successful competitors in your space who maintain a list they regularly correspond with ... those things are probably worthwhile time investments, as they will provide fodder for your emails and help you cultivate your voice.

I dont have a ebook or i dont hae any products or services to sell
I presume the blog is monetized in some way? Ads or affiliate referrals?

Either way, my suggestion would be spend some time on your readers' profile, and perhaps study what some WF'ers have to say about developing a relationship with your readers through email (a few can be found here: https://www.warriorforum.com/email-m...ments#comments and here: https://www.warriorforum.com/email-m...ments#comments ).

Email as you likely know is a tremendously valuable and personal marketing channel; if you've been fortunate enough to have already built something of a list, my recommendation would be to do some of the advance planning required to engage them to the fullest (which can lead to outsized rewards for you down the line.)

Congratulations, you started building an email list from from scratch. You just need to write stunning newsletters to these people and give them what they want. Dont be shy. It's always about testing and taking action. Go and sign up to at least 10 newsletters in your niche, pay at attention to we hat they say and how they promote their content.

Kinda impossible to specifically figure out what to send, but if your niche is finance/credit cards, maybe send out informative content that explains what you are, what you do, etc.

why not find offers in your niche. Start with a site like Maxbounty. They are on your site and list because of personal financial reasons. Give them offers in that niche

  • If you have a lot of content in your blog, maybe you can organize them into themes to create an ebook or series?

I guess you would need to define the goal of your engagement emails?

Would you like to send content emails driving your readers back to your site or are you are looking to send promote affiliate links in the emails themselves?

If it is the latter there is an entire section dedicated to Financial Services on Impact Affiliates. You will likely find something that would be a good fit for your audience.

Go to your successful competitors and sign up for their newsletter. Check out what content they post in their newsletter and get inspired.

Establish a business (your business) comes first, before lead generation.

Rest assured that GREAT content is always the winner for your readers. You can use private label articles to make lot of things and deliver content without writing a word....

You need to create a client journey with email automation, where an email is sent for each milestone from the moment they leave their contact information till after they convert.

It's not as hard as you think to find/create the correct line of communication between yourself, and your prospect/clients. Think of them as friends you want to make plans for the weekend with, except you can only communicate with them via email.

Also, Quality over Quantity - You don't need to build a huge list but a small list that's more focused and a higher quality. You will also save on your autoresponder fees because the bigger your list gets, the more you have to pay on your monthly charges.

First, warm your list up by sending them some cool free financial tips before you start marketing to them. This will grab their attention and make them feel as if they're getting a real value from the list. Then, after you warm the list, you can begin sending them marketing messages.

You can find high quality, popular products on various CPA networks to promote to your list.

Hey Buddy, a few ideas would be, buy some PLR products. There are many products in that field. Sign up to clickbank and promote a porduct in that area. There are many products. But don't just shove products / affiliate offers down their throats. Deliver value first.

To start with, if I were you, I would pick a less broad niche or a sub-niche and one that I have some knowledge about or for which content is easier to come by. Here is an example of what I mean:

If you are giving a free product away in exchange for people's email addresses, then the topic of the emails you send them afterward should be in keeping with the nature of the product they receive. Let's say your free offer is a PDF document about How to Embalm a Dead Body; only people interested in that subject or business will accept the offer. You will then be required to send them information related to the mortuary business; sending other types of information will result in them unsubscribe from your email list.
I can assure you that it will be much easier to get content working with a sub-niche than the broad one you are attempting.

Who are your target audience? Understand this then you know the approach you use. When I started email marketing, I really thought it was hard. Until I understood that there are different contents for different audience. My audience were the ones with no time and more local. So I hard to infuse English with my native language and make it short.
