Tracking specific clicks in emails for each contact

Hello All,

I'm looking for a CRM / email marketing platform that can do the following:

For each contact, I want to count the number of clicks for particular links in the email.

For example, let's say I regularly send newsletters that have 2 sections: Music, and Movies

For each subscriber, I'd like to count the times they clicked on either section, on the basis of a some parameter in the link for example. I want the CRM to keep count of these clicks in customer fields.

Over time and after several email campaigns, I'll get to know who's more interested in either music vs movies.

Do you know any system that allows me to do this? I've considered MailChimp, but sadly it doesn't support that.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you

  • If it's about tracking your clicks and knowing subscribers who clicked on a link.

Convertkit can do that. I think Aweber can do that also.

ActiveCampaign can do this with the use of automations. I use it to better understand the individual interests / pain points of leads, so better tailor my message when I reach out to them manually.

As far as I know though there's no way to automatically segment these people (i.e send an email blast to people that prefer music over movies.) This information is viewable when visiting their individual record inside of ActiveCampaign, however.

    Hi All,

so I gave ConvertKit a try, and while you can tag people based on specific links they click, you cannot keep count if the number of times they click on these links across multiple campaigns...

I'll keep looking for other solutions... Still open to suggestions

    Thanks!
