During a launch

Hello,

I'm starting a Launch campaign, this a summer training course for Architecture students.
The launch lasts 10 days.
The first days where OK, some sales but after 2 days, nothing.

My question is : what do you do during a launch. what kind of events? videos? Events? What kind of emails? What are you tips to enhance sales?

    Is your target market willing to spend for such a training? Your market are students. Are you the only one in the field to give that kind of training? Students get training when they do internship, apprenticeship, or on-the-job training - whatever that is called for the field they're studying. Don't forget that there are free courses online too, and since they're students they most probably don't earn yet or if they do, they don't earn big yet. Maybe it's better to build a course or short course for those who are professionals already because number one, they have the means; and number two, their companies can sponsor them. But if it's really of value then you can sell it to whoever your target market is. Your issue with your launch now may have something to do with your copy and your promotions.

    More precisions :
    There is only 100 seats for first year architecture school and they are 5000 students that want to enter for each architecture school.
    My training course is a complete preparation with videos, lessons and advices to get more chance to enter Architecture schools.
    Usually my customers are parents that want the best for their children.

    Maybe i have to change my offer and maybe i have to propose a cheaper price (my price is around 1000 dollars).

    Perhaps your market is too small?

    Or your price is too high so you could lower your prices a little and add some scracity to it.

      The Market is OK, more than 14 000 emails, but i think my price is probably too high, maybe i have to propose a low cost product.

        Yes you have 14000 emails but there are only 100 seats as you mentioned in your OP, so i hope your calculations are correctly about the target market.

        Yes i suggest you lower your price, or sell only limited copies, i'm sure you can find a good marketing angle to make the product irresistable to your prospects.

      -- You could try a referral system where they get a discount if they refer a friend
      -- Create and do some kind of blog or focus on social media
      -- Offer a free vid/lesson/report
      -- Introductory vid about 5-10 min long about the course, benefits, stats and why to choose it!

    you need a social proof, eg. good reviews from previous clients posted on the page.

      I've done only one launch for my website and it was a complete disaster. That being said I know there are many things I would have done differently.

      I would have focused more on the prelaunch. I would have put an email optin on the page before launch. I would have asked more questions to potential users pertaining to how my website service will solve a certain problem or answer a certain question. I would have very plainly asked if they would actually use my website service. Feedback is crucial.

      Perhaps, with your situation these strategies could also be useful for your next launch.

      Maybe get some affiliates on board within your space to promote through social media accounts for the next launch.

    yes pre launch .

    My worse error was to create a perpetual launch with a automatic email sequence until the sale. It doesn't work. NEVER do this.
