Traffic from safe lists/viral sites ?

Did you have any success with traffic from safe list sites ?
I am testing a few traffic sources now.
And ive heard there are people that still get leads from these viral sites.
I've tested it and received couple hundreds of clicks but no optins.
This is with squeeze pages that convert at least 40% with solo ads.

    Yes there are many of them but they didn't have such a productive result. If u want to use them then only 10% of content will help you and 90% total wast of time. So always search for live and real market place for marketing & get some advantages.

      I wont go for safelist cause they are not responsive like they used to be few years ago. Stick to what is working for you now like the solo ad that youve just mentioned.

        So far they dont seem responsive at all.
        ive tried MMO offers and even more of an IM offers.
        Weird thing though that some people say its still good.
        i even paid for membership so i am able to send 5K mails and got 150 clicks.
        But only 1 conversion which is useless.
