Why are my emails going to spam

I use aweber and my open rate is really low. I put myself on my list on a few different emails that i have and my emails go to spam. How can I get this to stop?

Hola! Does your signature have an attached image? It usually is one factor.

Selling words, promotional words. Like; Cheap, buy, get this now!!!!, best offer etc.
Anything like that could get you into the spam. Don't trust the spam counter too much. Depends on the receivers actions too. A lot of ppl using gmail that has a habit of trashing mails with sales-lingo then gmail will "learn" this behaviour from it's user and try to sift out similar emails. Subbed or not.

There are many variables why emails go to spam.
    -No spf/dkim/rdns
-Too many messages from 1 IP
    -Repeated messages
    -Too many bounce email
-Your links are flagged as spam
-Many people mark your messages as spam
-Your server or ISP ip address are flagged as spam.
-Your email server is new (reputation)
    -Html on body of messages
-Bad keywords on body of messages

Adding aweber to the spf is definitely one reason...
though the are plenty of others -
first thing I would check in the future is whether you domain got blacklisted?
check this website for that - Email Blacklist Check - See if your server is blacklisted
if you're listed in there - very hard to fix and be better to switch to new domain (and hosting).

Remove "free" and "percent off" from subject lines.

On the whole, you get what you pay for.

The truth is, you haven't shared nearly enough information for anyone who knows what they're talking about to give you a professional opinion. Everyone right now is just guessing what your problem is.

Not those of us who actually read the thread, before replying: we noticed that the OP has now discussed the problem with Aweber, already resolved it, and explained what the solution was.
