A well maintained list or moreso a buyers list will make you money for a long time to come.

Initially as you have given a large portion of the profits away on the front end, now is the time to deliver value to the list, hold webinars, tell them your stories and build trust.

Tip: Tell and share stories !

In this industry you want to align with other product developers and super affiliates these are the guys who will send you the traffic, once you have a relationship in place by promoting other people products to your list then this is the beginning of you building your empire.

Hey man awesome post! I know stories work wonders...I've used them in the past, and my emails with stories in them made me some of my most money haha.

My issue is coming up with these stories...or remembering stuff that happens in my life I can connect these stories too.

    Any tips on that?

Story telling is part our DNA markup and goes back to the start of time

One way to get around writers block is to -
Create an email address and subscribe to a lot of marketers and read what others are writing and what made you open the email in the first place CTA Headlines and compelling body text then incorporate this into your own broadcasts

    Here is a tip on how to engage your users before you sell them stuff;

    AIDA model:
Awareness - Get your users aware of the product
Interest - Have them interested with the benefits of the product
Desire - Emotional value of wanting the product
Action - the call to action to get them buying

which is also the formula for writing sales copy

yeah when I first started I used to talk to my list like a robot and nobody opened my emails but then I just was myself one day and I couldn't believe the open rate. The more I was myself and shared my actually experience a lot more people started following my content.

When you care for your list the results show it!

I noticed this too. And in some way sometimes I even talk about something off topic which is just happened in my everyday life which my subscribers seem to enjoy. Entertaining them can boost your open rates a lot.

It depends on your business model, i know guys with lists in the hundreds of thousands and even millions who burn and churn and others with small lists in the thousands but both making significant income from these lists. Cultivating relationships does pay off if they have had to pay for whatever you have, history has show that a freebie on your list will have less long term value than the other

Email is still alive and well today.
Do you check your email everyday? Why yes of course!

Building a list is still as important as ever. Give your list what they want for subscribing, and then promote relevant quality offers to them from time to time.

I would go soo far to say, that it is essential that you are building a list for long term sustainability. "If everything i owned was destroyed my office, computers, files but you left me with just my mailing list" i would be able to eat

I completely agree with telling stories as well...

For it's a simple way to really connect with your subscribers over a longer period of time.

But besides that, being entertaining and having a personality goes a long way, too !

Email marketing is the only way to go.

Leveraging the thank you page is always a must too, as mentioned above. Using a CPA/CPL offer on your thank you page is a great way to generate revenue immediately. Getting paid to build a list? Hell yea!

Everything after that, so long as the relationship, bonding & trust is there, is 100% profits... AWESOME!

Yes....I believe that email marketing will always be an asset that will grow in value as it grows in size. I failed for years trying to spam my list...wrong! A good offer on your squeeze, quality thank you page and then shower with value.
