I've truly fallen in love with this kind of poetry. Here is another Haiku in honor of the winter season:

Heavy Rain Pouring
Out of the Heavenly Wells
To Quench the Dry Earth

This could be a commercial slogan for an irrigation system or Mineral Water …

From all the entries I liked David Chung, dorothydot and JDArchitecture the best. I appreciate writers who use clean and respectable language.

This Haiku is so poetic. I think Warrior Forum can use it as their official slogan. I really like this one. Thank you, Zeus66, for starting this thread. It's brought out into the open so many closet poets. This is one of the big benefits of the internet – it offers a public platform for gifted writers and poets who haven't got the money and time for hard copy publishing.

Sorry, I didn't count the syllables … numbers weren't ever my strong side … that's why I'm into writing rather than accounting.

It's not a Haiku, but it's still a beautiful slogan. My copywriter's ear immediately picked up on it. Anyway, I enjoyed reading it.

I was thinking … this beautiful thread has offered many members a platform to demonstrate their creative writing skills. I've always liked the idea of collaborative authorship and joint publishing ventures. I believe that we could use all the Haikus here (including those lovely poems which aren't really Haikus) to publish an eBook with each contributor choosing a picture to go with his/her Haiku or regular poem. Every contributor can write a short (up to 100 words) paragraph describing his/her services and website. This eBook would be good publicity for the Warrior Forum, for John Schwartz (so that he can soon celebrate his 5k post), and for every Warrior Forum member taking part in this thread. A definite Win-Win situation.

Thanks again, John, for this lovely thread.
