I don't actually have a good script but what I did was create a website specifically for CPA networks. Be as descriptive as possible on the website (e.g. how you get traffic, the results you've achieved so far, about you or your story, etc.). Throwing in a few testimonials will helps as well.

Re: Answer All Newbie Questions Challenge

Ok I will try one. I dont see it being answered because I have sent this question to many "gurus" "experts" and never get a reply

background before question -
I am not really new to IM (other then I have never tried it) but I have researched it plenty and when learning I always get the same information and that is "Dont ever start creating a website in the IM/make money/home business ideas niche's unless you have done it already" and at the same time I am told "do something you are passionate about" well I only really have one passion and that is Marketing in general. Internet marketing, online marketing, offline marketing, CRM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and so much more. I love learning about it and my friends and family would tell you I dont shut up about it. yet anytime I think about starting a site I think about the Marketing niche. I have no passion for anything else but this niche. I feel if I start a website that is not my passion then I will not be motivated to do anything on the site. but when I think about starting a site that's around the IM niche I go crazy lots of energy pages and pages of website ideas. I cant sleep and then I come back to reality and remeber that people I have learned from that I respect and look up to say "don't go into this niche unless you have done it before" I also took about 6 marketing courses in College and loved them all got 80-90+ in every class.

My Question - What would you do in my shoes ?

Ok, I have a few Newbie questions of my own and I would really appreciate it if I could get some help.

1. I have a paypal account and have $5 in it. What do you think is the best way to spend this money?
2. I live in Bangladesh, so I can’t verify my paypal here. Is there any way that I can use to verify my paypal account free of cost?
3. Lastly, and importantly, is there any way of knowing which friends in my friend’s list in Facebook use real money to buy FarmCash? I want to sell ebooks about Farmville tips so that way I can have a specific range of people to work with?

Re: Answer All Newbie Questions Challenge

All of these responses and questions are great - but where does one start though?

I had a product written for me and placed it on a website that I created etc through 'go daddy'.

I then paid for a banner advertisement on an international newspaper site.

Didnt have one sale and it cost me a fair bit.

I really want to get into IM but where do I start? Was what I did above correct? what should I have done to make it more effective?

I am getting ideas together and have read about membership sites, writing blogs, becomming an affiliate, settiing up an amazon store etc etc.

How does one know which one to do, which idea/product to go with and most importantly......where to begin?

How can this happen? What should I do? If there any sales made, where the commission go: petewill-20 or my aff id?

Anybody, please help?

Dazzvision,

I dont know if anyone answered you here but I sure will. I am not a professional by any means but I can give you my honest opinion on what I would do. First of all, you need to make sure your computer is not infected with some spyware or a key logger. To me personally, it appears that you might have someone logging into your Wordpress back office and changing the affiliate link on you. (I'm not saying this is the case, just speculating). So number one right now is to change your Wordpress back office password to something different.

Also, when you look at the html or the link itself in your actual post editing, does it always show you your proper link that you copy pasted from amazon itself? Because yes, the person "petewill-20" will receive commission for it if its showing his link there. What I would do is delete and re-add your link completely. Or if you want, you can use the Wordpress plugin called "Pretty links" that you can search for in your Wordpress back office itself. And from there, make yourself a pretty link for your amazon affiliate link.

Then I would go back in my post, remove all links and retype my links all over again to ensure that you didn't make a mistake. I hope this helps you figure out what is going on! And if you cant get the link right when you hover over it, I suggest you stop all activity on the site until you figure it out since your giving your commissions to someone else! Good luck.

Internet marketing is good thing but I usually don’t see any genuine point in doing for internet marketing, I mean all those things we do with our website to make it appear on top and widen our online business seem fake. I hope you have understood my question. Thanks

What is shiny object syndrome? Is that where one gets fixated on the one thing only?

The issue I have is that I am a newbie and dont know where to start. I developed a product a couple of years ago, built a website with a shopping cart system through Go Daddy and advertised with a banner on a major news paper website costing a substantial sum - no clicks to th esite - so now I want to do it right - the product is outdated now but there are many products on Clickbank - is that the best way to go? find an existing product and then - how to effectively market it? Or is there other better options?

To do this, you should first create a website for your consulting company. Writer about 10-20 articles (to establish authority). Create a lead capture page with a white paper (to position yourself as a marketing expert). Get in touch with your leads. Provide your services to them.

I would suggest that you offer services with recurring monthly fees so you only need about 10 clients to make $10,000 - $20,000 per month :)

Does that help?

Sorry I could not find this thread again. Thank you for your suggestion but I am not interested in dealing with offline clients (at the moment). Thats not saying I would never do it just I feel more comfortable starting online and building my confidence first. You are the first person that has ever answered this question for me and I thank you for that

Hi Everyone!

I had an older Warriorforum account from a few years ago and simply lost access to it. Forced to create this one. Anyways..

Since this thread is getting help from a lot of pros, I need some help on getting a few things done.

I have honestly purchased dozens of products online and lately I have noticed that many clickbank membership sites are using the same style of membership site, such as Mobile Monopoly 2.0, Google Sniper 2, Traffic Black book and many others. I am really interested in searching for some guides to help me set one up. Can anyone share a product or strategies that can guide me towards that? If you need more samples let me know... but if you google it, you will see it. I can certainly see that they are all WordPress based membership sites, so how can I build one?

Thank you very much in advance.
Roger

There are a few ways you can get a membership site up (either with a wordpress theme or a plugin)

You can build membership sites using the following:
s2member - free
Wishlist Member - $97
Digital Access Pass - $167
OptimizePress - $97

Hey buddy,

Simply stayed about 2 years without using it, was unable to retrieve it

I did try finding retrieving it, but since I wanted to get back on the forums I just decided to create a new one..

Also, thanks a lot for the membership site details..

When bluehost says it has " unlimited domain hosting" does that mean I can host as many domains as I would like one account?

Like if I had two websites would I have to pay for two separate hosting, or just one?

Hey,
I am a newbie, so first I wanted to see how this works. After a small study and with the help of my friend, I created a blog ( w/o any intenton of profit), I applied adsense on that blog.

After few days, I got a message from google about disability of my adsense account.
I created a new one from otther account, after few days that is also deactivated.

Now I am going for serious website with real investment, which will be partial adsense based, I am not getting whats wrong, show me the way out.

If you sign up to Google Webmaster Tools you will not only get useful information about the way Google sees your website, but you will also receive messages if your site is down, if it looks like you might be spreading malware, etc. It's a good way to focus on the things you need to fix, but I agree that you should read through the TOS for Adsense. The rules are pretty straight forward. You can go through this page like a checklist.

To answer your question without any additional thought, the answer is yes.

You might want to ask yourself a few more questions before deciding on a host like these:
1) If the host requires that you have one "main" domain, and if you sell this at some point, will you have a problem with the other domains associated to your account?
2) If you have other people who will work on these sites are you able to limit their login access to just the domain they are working on?

Hi Non,

You should do this:
1) Check to see what products are selling at Clickbank based on their gravity. You might get ideas based on this alone.
2) If you would like to sell a Clickbank product based on a niche that you're interested in and not because it's popular, check first to see if there is a Clickbank product available. You might want to type in a general keyword and then it will populate a list of products that can give you more ideas.
3) After you've found a product to promote, go to a keyword tool and see if there are a lot of searches for this particular niche.
4) If there are a good number of searches, you know that you have a good market.
5) Check for specific keywords to see what the competition looks like.

There are a lot of details to steps 5 and what to do afterwards, but you probably want to focus on finding that niche so I'll leave out those details.

Also, a good tool, if you want to start by choosing a niche, then clickbank product is first going to Google Insights for Search.. You can select a category first, then enter a search term to see the top searches for ideas.

Hope this helps.

Here are 3 ways to use social media to get traffic to my website/blog:

1. Use a tool called Seesmic to share my website to multiple social media sites. You can get a free account too. Another great tool is OnlyWire.

2. Create videos, post it on Youtube and include a link to my website in the resource box.

3. If you have a Facebook page, share it there and interact with your fans.

4. Empower your audience to share your website by installing a plugin like Sexy Bookmarks or AddThis on your blog or website.

Driving traffic to your website is a continual process and requires consistency to see good results.

How to manage time in IM whilst still working fulltime with offline.

JoeyXoto 4th September 2012 06:38 AM

Re: Answer All Newbie Questions Challenge

Hi everyone, brand new to Warrior Forum and looking to join War Room, too.

I have quite a bit of basic knowledge on SEO and IM. Though I struggle with the research (the most important part!); does anybody have advice/guides on finding the keywords that work best and how to reseach the competition?

I also don't think doing micro niche websites for me is going to work too great as I generally enjoy writing about my passions, rather than random topics I know nothing about/have no interest in. I have several things I find interesting, and enough knowledge on those topics to write books/information websites.

So I guess my questions are; does anybody know of step by step guides on going to market an information website? Or making money from an information website?

Are information websites profitable? If I give info away for free, am I just relying on adsense for profit on the site?

I need guidance on making money from my favourite topics and the knowledge I have.... I just don't no where to start, what keywords to focus on etc.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks everybody.

Hi,

So I have read the ebook and taken the first few steps into my online business. I have to say this is the best book I have read on the topic. The steps are clear, and the great thing is that everything is upfront. If something is going to be difficult, Christine explains why... She really prevents you from making mistakes by highlighting the difficulties in a specific strategy you may be attempting.

Overall I am very satisfied and I feel comfortable taking my baby steps whilst following along with Christines book. This is an excellent reference.

Thanks Christine!

I what I do is I assign at least 2 hours per day for IM during week days and 4 hours on weekends.

During these hours I work on specific targeted tasks that I assign to myself on my to do list for the day.

I keep these 2 hours laser focused and I don't get distracted.

The best way to make money online is the method you enjoy the most, are most comfortable with and knowledgable about. I.e. Choose one method, and learn it, make mistakes, learn more, do it again and master it. don't pick and choose, and don't wait for the next best "system". Just pick one method, and go for it - take action.

There are several ways to make money online without a website. Do a search on this forum/google and you will find the answers.... - searching/researching are big parts of making money online :) and any other business for that matter.

I suggest you get the writer to submit some past articles relating to what you want to market and decide if they are a good fit ;)

Re: Answer All Newbie Questions Challenge

I plan on getting a YouTube video (which is a testimonial about a product being promoted from Clickbank) and get it ranked on the first page with it's exact match search being 5,400. The video on the first page currently only has 3,000-5,000 views or so, no comments, and two likes/one dislike.

Would this method work?
- I purchased a testimonial from Fiverr. Looks pretty good, it is 1:17 minutes long. (15$)
- I will purchase a domain to re-direct to my affiliate link. The product name is in the domain. (15$)
- I will purchase 5,000 views + 100 likes + 10 custom comments from Fiverr. The retention rate will be about 30-60 seconds I've been told which is good since my video is roughly that long anyway. About eight or nine of the custom comments will also contain my keyword. (5$)
- I will purchase an EBP back-link which is 300 tier 1s and 4,700 tier 2s from Fiverr. I can't post a link at the moment (since my school computer blocks Fiverr) but you can just search "EBP" and it's the first gig. (5$)
- I will purchase a SEO nuke service just to throw in some more links also from Fiverr. (5$)
- I will purchase 1,300+ social bookmarks. (10$)

In total, this video investment will have costed me 55$. With each product sold, I will earn 40-45$ each so my with only two sales, I would have made my initial investment back. Do you guys think this ranking method will be effective?

Could anyone point me in the direction of a good thread about Keyword Research please? or some outside sources.

I need/want to learn about Keyword Research so I can get my stuff moving.

Thanks

Jack
