I think the issue with the majority of newbies is they try to do to to quick and expect overnight . While I am sure it's possible I personally dont know anyone who has achieved it.

My only advice would be to
1: Choose a route and stick to it.
2: Take advice, and more importantly "use it"
3: Set a schedule
4: Dont try to get everything perfect( theres plenty of time for that)
5: Actually do stuff, dont just learn how to do it.
6: Focus on the important things first.
7: Learn a marketing strategy you are comfortable with.
8: Learn another marketing strategy .
9 Rinse and repeat 7&8
10: Scale it all up
