Hey warriors,

So, my site OutsourceProfits.com is officially launched (shameless plug, i know ) and I've been working hard to get my product and website out there...contacting affiliates, working with my JVs, submitting to sites, creating articles, etc.

Now, after several split-tests, I'm confident my salespage converts really well and I'm also considering buying online ads...MarketingProductReview.com came up.

I've purchased 1/4 page advertisement in MPR before, and didn't get any results. In fact, I didn't receive any traffic according to google analytics.

I spoke to an MPR rep and he told me I'd get better results and exposure with a fullpage ad.

Has anyone here ever paid for MPR advertising? If so, what kind of traffic you received to your site? Do you think it's even worth it?

Also, any paid-ad recommendations? (Besides adwords of course)

Ivan

PS - I'm not here to bash anyone or any site...I'd just like real reviews from real people

Nice. When you previously took out your quarter page ad did they express any concern that your ad would not receive a response for any reason?

The rep's job is to sell advertising space so I wouldn't take his word as gospel.

Stick with the quarter page ad if you are going to try again.

If I were you I would buy a brand new domain and use it in the advert. The new domain would simply be a forwarder to the sales page using a click counter.

When the advert runs you will know exactly how many people have been attracted using ONLY that advert.

If, as suspected, it doesn't pull whatsoever you will not waste money on a full page ad.

Fact is, when I purchased a quart-page ad a few months ago, I did not receive one hit of traffic (okay, maybe just 5 hits...woopee!)

And after talking to other advertisers on MPR, they did not receive any positive results.

    I've made up my mind.

I was going to say... haven't you already sort of answered your own question?

I have ran several full page ads in national magazines. They all started out as smaller ads that were scaled up once conversions were measured. While it is true that a larger add can increase the viewer response, I doubt that you can take a losing ad and make it work simply by increasing the size of it. You were given poor advice in my opinion.
