Best Video Conferencing Product Out There...

My partner and I are searching for the best video conferencing solution that allows us to both share our faces on screen during the conference/webinar, allows visitors to see our screen, and then lets us download the video when we are done.

We've been waiting all week for a beta account on the new Go2Meeting version but they've been dicking us around all week. They keep telling us it will take 48 hours max to approve the account but after a week and hours on the phone we still have nothing.

I just checked out these guys...

Web Conferencing | Video Conferencing | Webinar Software | Web Meeting | Video Conference Services at MegaMeeting.com

... and was surprised they actually had a live agent there to help walk me through the system. It seemed pretty cool, but they want about $300 to enable the record feature. I'm not sure I want to pay that unless I know it works flawlessly. I just don't want to waste the time.

Do any Warriors have any recommendations on a video conferencing service that allows...

1. 2 people to be filmed while on the call.
2. Download of the video.
3. And something without horrible video quality.

?

Would love any feedback.

    Hey Jason,

Not sure how they stack up, but I'm looking at:

GVO Conference, Easy, open, affordable collaboration for online meetings, eLearning, desktop sharing, training, distance education, webinar, free web meetings.

Gotowebinar botched 2 recordings of mine that are making my LIFE MISERABLE at the moment, so I can't really see putting money into their pocket while they are costing me money.

GVO has been in development a long time, by Joel Therien. Company used to be Kiosk hosting, now it's GVO.

I haven't used the latest version - but Joel is very IM oriented - and very approachable. I had a problem a few months back with my reseller account there - posted here that I was looking for a new host - and Joel CALLED me to get things fixed.

Give him a call - I am sure he'll walk you through the system, to see if it fits what you need -

    Hey Jason,

I'm one of the corporate trainers for GVO Conference and it's hard to touch all the features you get for the price.

You actually can have up to 4 video moderators on the screen at a time. Screen sharing is seamless and unlike GoTo, nothing to download for your visitors, flash based.

Let me know if you want a corporate beta account, pm me.

Last I saw during launch, GVO only lets you record the entire screen....not custom portions of it. Has this changed? What format does the recording save to?

GVO previous version was hotconference and it was based on a peer-to-peer network. It completely sucked! It was also a "network marketing" opportunity which I have NO interest in. I just wanted a service that worked. I tried it for several months with promises to improve but it never did.

I use GoToWebinar by Citrix. I have an old plan which includes 1,000 attendees for $100 a month (actually $99).

JOMO, I'll rent it to you if you need it short term.
