EasilyAnswered.com - What's the Deal?

I just received a link to join this new site for "pocket money that an 11-year-old would have", where they boast of having a truckload of "experts" who are eagerly waiting for your personal questions to answer. Anyone else seen this? The latest IM BS?

Did you watch the video yet? Do you have any idea what the site is about? You should probably do your own research before thinking it is BS.

So to answer your question, I will copy a few words from your question:
"truckload of experts who are eagerly waiting for your personal questions to answer".

    Hope this helps.

I think the OP's question is surrounding the so-called experts who are all crammed together waiting in the truck for someone to ask them a question. [/sarcasm]

Who are they? (Yes, anticipation marketing at work here)

That's pure Guru mistreat... at least put them on a boat or a private island with fresh air and water.

LOL - Just yesterday I saw a bunch of Costa Rican farmers crammed on a truck. Did not look fun at all. Had a very 'cattle' feel to it.

There's a video at: Easily Answered that
pretty much explains exactly what the site is about.

Members can ask question, and one of th 100 or so experts...
I lost count, answers the questions in a short audio and even
offers supplemental notes if it merits it.

I'm one of those experts who visits the site regularly,
select questions that I consider myself qualified to
    answer, and then answer them.

    Pretty straightforward.

That's the point though, Willie is right. On some forums you get advice from people who haven't made any money whatsoever, which may be wrong and therefore give the wrong answers to peoples' questions.

Whereas, on EasilyAnswered.com, there are special requirements to even become an Expert, such as having 5,000+ list subscribers and needing to earn a six figure income, with a product or service of their own.

So basically you get more qualified answers from people who have proven their expertise in it.

If you watch the intro video on the website then that will explain all.

But it's definately NOT a forum

Yeah, I'm one of the Experts on there too.

There's already been LOTS of people asking questions and those same people all getting 30 minute audios back from their experts answering their questions, not some generic BS which is copied and pasted from answer to answer.

Best thing since sliced bread if i'm honest.

      Hope i've helped

      Matt
I guess it's akin to Yahoo Answers except each expert had to
apply, and there were minimum qualification to include a minimum
income, you had to have your own product, and a few others.

The site will easily become the place where people will go to
look up answers for very specific IM questions.

    Hey Buzzy,

Definitely not BS. I'm personally one of the experts. I've answered a couple questions already even though I'm on vacation in Costa Rica right now. And I've also invited a lot of other pretty successful people to be a part of it. At least a dozen or so of them have joined as experts, too.

Off the top of my head - Willie Crawford, Joe Jablonski, Simon Leung, Michael Ambrosio, David Congreave, Ross Goldberg ... those are just some people that I remember. Here's a more complete list - http://www.easilyanswered.com/experts.php - but experts are joining every day so it's not 100% complete.

I can't speak for *everyone* that signed up as experts - but I know many of us have already answered dozens of questions for people. When I invited experts in, I said I felt this was a potential 'game changer' ...

    Time will tell.

But having access to so many successful marketers for such a low price could definitely turn a lot of heads. Tahir Shah has done a killer job putting this all together.

I am an expert there as well. So far, I have personally answered 3 questions. Using audio and providing resources, etc.

You are not allowed to use affiliate links as an expert, so you can be assured that if we recommend a product or service, it's based on merits and not profiting as an affiliate.

I think we can include links to our own stuff, not sure, but so far I haven't

Anyway, I think that if the experts continue to participate, this could be one of the best resources on IM available to date.

Yeah, I think this is a fantastic opportunity for everybody involved, especailly with so many "newbies" coming along here and there. Not every person has the "one perfect answer" so this way, you can ask about all kinds of different things and get different opinions.

Come join us 'buzz' ...you too can have your questions "easily answered" in no time.

Tahir worked hard to get this right, so my hat's off to his hard work for sure.

It's much more than a "niche answers" type of site. Your question gets the attention of many, many experts who are qualified to give you a reliable answer.

As Harris pointed out, here are the current experts:

I'm also an "expert" in EasilyAnswered.com, although I'm still getting used to that "title"... lol

The moment Tahir explained the concept to me a few months ago I just knew it would be awesome for both my subscribers and my business...

      why?

easy, I've been spending more and more time answering questions on a "1 on 1" basis for people on my newsletter, to the stage that it can suck up 2-3 hours of my day or more, and it's not the most effective way of spending my time, as was evidenced by my recent BlogTactics.com blog post "Nothing Works 2" where I spent hours trying to help the "grumpyoldchef" before realising I was banging my head against a brick wall...

the whole point of having a blog and a newsletter for me is to be able to to teach and share what I've learnt on a "1 to many" basis, it's what makes it work as a business without having to charge "an arm & a leg".

EasilyAnswered let's me get back to that model and still be able to afford to help people.

I've no doubt I'll still end up spending an hour or two every day answering Q's from subscribers, but if they're not directly related to one of my products or services, I'll be advising people to go to EasilyAnswered to get the answers they need...

Within the next few months I can see the site being one massive database of IM related questions and answers covering every topic there is, can you think of a better resource to have access to as a marketer, whatever your level of expertise..?

haha... seriously... what are you in business for?

As a fellow expert over at EasilyAnswered.com I can honestly say that I was initially very skeptical about what was exactly going on...

After spending considerable time chatting with Tahir and seeing the site I was completely blown away with not just the concept, but the commitment of ALL those involved.

I wish something like this was around when I was getting started. I can remember sitting for hours trying to solve a problem. Sure I could've dropped by a forum but for some of us its not that simple.

From a feeling of being embarassed to ask something in a public place through to being shown some tough love (unconstructive advice) by well meaning forum members is not for everyone.

No one is holding a gun to your head to check it out, its a simple choice you can make. But whats the point in being critical of something you have no understanding of?

If you want more info just contact Tahir and I'm sure he'll be more than accomodating in answering any questions or concerns that you may have.

unlike most product launches that only really benefit
the owner...this one is one of the good ones where
    all involved benefit greatly.

I'm sure you've got the gist of what "Easily Answered"
is all about. It's like a paid forum where members get
there questions answered by experts..and where even
the experts get to meet other experts which can help
    with networking etc.

But the main focus is on helping the members. I feel
privileged to have been invited as an expert on there
even though I am not as experienced as some of the
marketers on there....but I'm happy to help out where
    I can.

Seriously, for the money (which isn't much) it's the best
value education you will find IMO. It's like having your own
personal tutor to teach you anything you want to know
    about IM.

I suspect this will go far! Credit goes to Tahir for making
    his ideas come to life.

    Cheers,

I posted earlier that I had some problems with my check out when
ordering easilyanswered.com membership. I said I'd post again after
I used the service to see if it was going to be a benefit to me.

Well.... Guess what? The service is starting to work for me already!
I was very pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Tahir,
The mind behind this idea. (It was 1:00am his time)

He called to solve my problem and make sure I could get logged into
the membership area. He also did much more, he ask me what I was
having problems with and really listened. He gave me clear directions,
where to go and what to do next.

In short, we talked for about 45 minutes
and I was astounded with his personal attention on my behalf.
He even offered his personal email address to me if I might have
any problems getting the answers I need.

Thanks so much to Willie and Tahir for being there for me.
I am looking forward to this service as being the piece of gold
    I've have been missing.

As I said before, after I use the service I'll come back
    to post.

PS: I don't think anyone mentioned that these experts all have access to interact with each other first in order to give you the best answers they can.

    Ronnie,

I looked for previous info I heard about the experts. I am sorry I had no luck.
I do know that they had to meet certain credentials in order to praticipate.
I think they have to make at least 6 figures a year and have their own product and something else. Don't quote me on this. I'm sure someone else in the forum might be able to help you out. I'll look into it further though.

      Hi folks!

I also signed up for this membership. I asked a question about two weeks ago. It was a pretty straight forward question about blogs. I also made sure to be very thorough to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding. I haven't received an answer yet.

I recently sent an email to the support staff (live support was offline at the time) asking for an update. Again. . .no response after 24 hours.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay in getting answers to questions or from the support staff?

My concern is that if they take this long to answer questions and the support staff doesn't respond to inquiries at this stage, what will happen as the membership grows?

I don't consider myself to be very inpatient, but I was hoping it wouldn't take this long.

Any feedback or insight would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks!

        Hey John,

Firstly, aplogies for any problems you're facing, we're aware of some problems and they're being addressed.

As with any site that is programmed from the ground up, there are often a few teething problems or glitches.

Particularly when there are constant live updates and improvements being made to the site.

Some of those updates you will have seen, some you won't have as they are updates that have been done in the experts area.

Because everything on the site is very interconnected, making a change in one area can have consequential effects on other areas of the site.

It seems that with some of our updates, a very small handful of questions have gotten lost in the system, and also we've had a few problems with the live support software... which is why live support has been intermittent for now.

Fortunately, as you'll have seen we've answered hundreds and hundreds of questions without any glitch already, and in fact close to 50 hours worth of audio content made up of pure internet marketing questions answered by the experts on the site (all fully searchable), has already been uploaded in the answers area - and there's a constant flow of answers being added to the members area each day.

So, I'd say, if your question hasn't been answered, please resubmit it. It may have been one of those affected by the changes we're making.

Also over the next week you'll see some exciting new changes made in the members area, making it even more user friendly, and easier to navigate.

We're getting 99.9% of the questions answered and we've already delivered more in terms of fresh, unique content over the first month than as you are aware many sites provide in the course of a year. Please bear with us during these updates, if and when we get the 0.1% wrong - we're really working hard to make the site the very best it can be for you.

And you'll have seen that we've already given away access to over $300 worth of premium products in the first month as bonuses too.

That's our commitment not only to getting things right, but to ensuring that you as a member get the very best value for your buck.

So please do ask the question again, it probably is one of those that has been affected, and apologies again if yours is one of the small handful (as it seems it might be) that has been affected whilst we make improvents to the service.

                  Hi Neal,
Yes it is great. Tahir is on top of the glitches, it just takes time as improvements are being made constantly. E.A is a bargain the way I look at it, because time is money. By the time you search all over the net for answers and get 50 different ones your wasted.
                  Good luck in your business.

I hate to chime in as a complainer but I think that when a product seriously needs improvement then complaints can help a lot if the site owner is listening and responsive. Otherwise complaints just become a bitch session. So please anyone reading this don't assume I'm here to whine just because I have some points to criticize.

                    1. Based on my limited experience responses take an average of 4 - 5 days. If you read the sales page you get the impression that this is a way to get fast answers to questions you'd have to look for.
                    2. I have emailed the support address a couple of times and gotten exactly no replies.
                    3. I got two answers to a total of three questions posted at EA. One of the answers was practically a yes or no answer in its simplicity so I had to give it five stars because it turned out to be correct. You can't get less than five stars for that right?

The other question resulted in a five day wait and then being directed to a site where I could buy the answer from someone else. I was informed that I would not want to find out how to do it myself and that I should just hire someone. Maybe that's true but really what was I paying for? If I'd asked the same question here I'd have gotten multiple answers almost immediately and, at worst, being no more informed than the paid answer.

                    4. The weekly download section has only two downloads that have been there for some time -- effectively rendering the weekly download site to less than even a monthly download section. This is supposed to be one of the great value points of this site -- the download section. Also when I had technical problems getting access to the weekly downloads I emailed support and got no reply -- yes I checked my spam filters.

My impression -- obviously I'm not stating a fact here but an impression -- is that the site did not launch as well as expected and it has taken a back seat. Therefore I'd suggest juicing it with value and responsiveness -- post weekly downloads or stop selling that feature on your sales page, if necessary outsource your customer support so that customers get support, and require answers within 48 hours from your participants. At the very least have an auto-responder status message going out every 24 hours to the customer and a copy to the list of gurus letting them know how long the customer has been waiting for a response -- or some other urgency escalation system that lets all parties know what is going on.

Hopefully my suggestions will show that I'm not just here to gripe but to try and contribute something useful to Tahir.

              Hi Kevin,
Thank you again. I talked to Tahir about 40 minutes today. Real cool guy that I'm looking forward to learn some things from. He is a dedicated man, and I really appreciated him taking the time to get with me on my complaints and ideas. You made it happen and BTW he had some great things to say about you also. I want to get on to some of your things also, but I'm buried right now. Talk to you soon.

    Hey,

I just stopped by to read the more recent post I missed.
I will say Tahir always seems to be right on top of everything.
He encourages your suggestions no matter what they may be.
I haven't been by EA.com for a few weeks. My last visit he did
have one of the same of the only 2 download offers I've seen
since signing up in the beginning of launch. I did not expect them
so I think they are a welcome addition if you need them.
I have seen several complaints about reply's taking to long.
I myself have had no problems. I've got my answers in about 24 to 72
max. I got one in about 12 hours and one in 72. The rest of my questions
have been answered in 24 to 48 hrs. I think I have only posted 5 or 6
questions though. I can find what I need to know often without having to post.
Anyhow, I'm very happy with it and the answers I've received.

I love knowing they are there when I need them.

Good concept but it seeams that is not so atractive to people! and how about rich content! better use a question and answers script who will bring you more visitors and when you are rising up try this concept!

I don't understand your comment. Maybe I should call it quits for tonight.
I don't understand what it has to do with question and answer scripts.
For me it's a place where I can get answers from specific proven marketers
that specialize in that practicular field. Straight answers that I might not find
somewhere else as well as to be reassured about things I read or heard
      from other sources as well.
