Yes! Exactly. I'm sure once people figure out how to market them head on there will be many "niche" fiverr websites. Hell, there has to be a WSO for a Fiverr Starter Website haha.

No offense but why post in my thread saying try the search function? I obviously did that otherwise I wouldn't feel the need to post a thread.

Besides most of the Fiverr threads are about what gigs to post on Fiverr or people experimenting with certain gigs and showing off their results. I'm asking about the actual site and feedback from people who bought and experienced a fiverr script.

  No, actually, he's talking 42 threads about Fiverr clones. I was surprised -- I thought there were way more than that. Fiverr's been around over two years, and talk about cloning it almost that long.
  
  You asked about potential problems. No matter which script you buy, the biggest problem you'll face -- and why no Fiverr clone has succeeded to any great extent -- is generating traffic. For a while some of the clones were buying AdWords but that gets pretty expensive when there isn't much income.
  
  Some of the clones have changed hands multiple times. They're kind of like that little restaurant in that not-so-good location. Every succeeding owner thinks they've got the secret sauce to make it work.

As usual, fluffy is filled with wrong information....to the brim this time. She feels like she needs to comment on something she has never owned and has no idea about.

If you can pull in 1000+ UV's daily (which my clone does)...

You will do between $1,000 - $3,000 monthly PROFIT.

Now, can you you live off of that? Doubtful. Which of course I don't. It's my fun, part time, screw around site.

How much time do I spend on my clone? (backend admin stuff, paying the vendors, customer support) MAYBE 15 minutes per day.

Here are the advantages of having your own clone (why I did mine)

1. You have your own personal database of people you know that deliver.
2. You get a 20% discount. On top of that, if the person doesn't deliver, you don't pay them, it is that simple, because you hold the money.
3. You sell WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT. Fiverr doesn't tell you what you can or cannot sell. On top of that, I sell it for the price I want. And even better than that, I FEATURE every one of my gigs, for FREE of course

My clone has over 5,000 google organic backlinks. I spend next to nothing for advertisement. It is one year old. I have been the only owner.

Why oh why Fluffy do you keep weighing in on this when you DO NOT OWN A CLONE.

It is THE BEST PART TIME SITE I HAVE EVER OWNED.

So are you currently running on fiverrscript?

Also another one of my main concern is how do the payment method work?
You are basically escrow and keep the $5 they send to you and then once they request a payout do you have to go through the trouble to manually send it to each individuals?

Hi, I purchased and implemented the Pricerr sitemile theme, just the single license-i note that there are a few guys on flippa that bought the developer license and seem to sell endless quantities of fiverr clone sites on there, heck how many microgig sites can make money? Anyway, Pricerr is not bad, takes a fair bit of tweaking and adjusting, depends what your idea is..works -my site is called cashgigs.net if you want to have a peek. Sitemile support is fair.

The pricerr theme sux big time. Comparing it with the competition maybe its good for a couple of users, but if you need to manage it for hundreds or thousands of users the CRM is crap. There are much better solutions on the market, you also can take a look at the share market of each software house, that will also expain it.

you are so wrong, at the price that pricerr theme is sold its absolute state of the art solution. There are a few reasons why pricerr is better than other standalone php scripts:

1. because is based on wordpress, and you have security and feature solid updates once every few weeks. Also wordpress has a big community and you can find modules/plugins everywhere, rather than staying at the mercy of a standalone script (like fiverrscript or others) creators to make modules (eg: newsletter, contact form, forums, social logins, etc)

2. better SEO, since its based on wordpress there are so many seo plugins and we all know google loves wordpress websites, and your website will be in top ranking much faster than other scripts

3. custom layouts, since its wordpress based you can integrate any custom design you want, and with child themes, you leave the main theme untouched and future updates are just copy paste.

4. has all the major modules for a microjob websites that all the other scripts have

5. big community, since is wordpress based and hundreds of plugins, and free plugins

The bottom line is that with the standalone scripts you are stick only with that team that created the theme, when with pricerr you have so many enhancement options.

All,

I was the previous owner of GigBucks and this site was running on Agriya. I own Fourerr (This is truly my baby) and this runs on Fiverrscript.

I can say with 100% confidence that Fiverrscript clearly wins out of both Fiverr Like scripts. I had a look at the Wordpress Themes but they don't come even near to what is required to run professionally such a site with high volumes and fully support all customer enquiries and complains. However I agree with @andreisaioc that some of these themes can give additional features.

I am now running for more then 18 months a Fiverr Like site and I don't agree at all with the statement that it just takes 15 minutes/day to run such a site. Running a site like this takes an awful lot of dedication and work to keep it ticking over and to make it grow.

We have a dedicated full-time customer support staff on Fourerr just to handle the queries, we hire system administrators, graphic designers and content writers in addition to usual SEO activities.

  Pricerr is by far the best. If anyone has used wordpress, will understand how easy it is to get up and running. New version is absolutely stunning. Went with Pricerr after reading about it on http://www.fiverrclonescript.com (the site no longer exists or offline)
  
  Plus you have a ton of plugins you can get for free. Yes FREE !
  
  Fiverrscript sucks because, complicated script, doesnt come with instructions on how to modify things, add adsense, etc
  
  Why dont they provide some basic info on how to change banner, or logo etc. They just dont. You have to search for everything at the forum. What a waste of time.
  
  Fiverrscript also has a policy, if you dont remove something related to their products on your site within 24 hours of being informed via email, they will cancel your license and lose all the money you paid them. Then they inform Arvixe that your site license has been canceled. Arvixe obliges them by booting you, because Arvixe gets a lot of customers from Fiverrscript.
  
  Ps. not just delete the gig, but also the seller must be deleted.
  
  Fiverr script only runs on Arvixe hosting. If you are booted from Arvixe, you are just about screwed unless you go with an expensive option of VPS or dedicated server, which can cost 10x to 40x. Plus the headaches of moving.
  Pricerr can be hosted on almost any host.

Today, the "Fiverrscript" software was being considered here. However, the Fiverrscript folks did not permit a pre-sales phone call (the phone call expense being mine). The potential language barrier notwithstanding, a phone number is not offered on the Fiverrscript website nor via an email request.
