Proven Amazon Course

I am unfamiliar with that specific course, but one thing I have noticed is that a lot of IM courses will get tons of "rave reviews" from people who have no idea what they are doing because they are brand new to IM or have never been successful in anything IM-related.

Sometimes a course will be excellent for a beginner because it covers a broad amount of material, but terrible to an expert because all of the material is beginner-level stuff or just a rehash of every other IM product that's out there. This is one thing that I always keep in mind when reading lots of positive reviews about a product: the level of expertise not of the product maker, but of the reviewers.

AMZ academy a one time fee? I thought it was a monthly fee of $37.

Glad we got you taken care of cjshu99. Personally, I hate Hotmail. The only other email service provider that gives us more headaches is AOL. I suggest everyone have a gmail account for important email.

Jim helped me a lot at the beginning when I was not sure where to go and how to monetize my websites. In the mean time, I created my own projects ( starting from his advices) and all is fine.

Yea, you know how it is, some people would complain if they won a billion dollars, 'cause they'd have to pay taxes on it. Instead of saying...I received a half a billion dollars !!!

Nearly all of the issues you are listing below are actively being added to the PAC course NOW and in the coming weeks...we are doing a 4 man update/revamp of the content with more good stuff coming in constantly. Not sure you need a $4k course to tell you that, on the sales videos i saw the presenters told you what to search under in Google to find wholesalers and manufactures from there you will have to contact suppliers yourself and negotiate etc. GIYF

I see someone from Jamaica on the PAC sales page, who is shipping out from Jamaica to Amazon not only to the U.S. but also the European fulfillment centers. So I think wherever you live in the world you can make this work.

For $4,000, I'LL teach you how to do this if you outside of the US

I live in the UK and have two FBA accounts, one in the UK and USA. My advice is to set up an LLC, tax ID and bank account in the USA.

Then use the methods from PAC, plus contact drop shippers within the USA who are directly shipping products to FBA. If you look around you can really find some gems where your profit margin is $10-$20, which is pretty cool when the product sells 10-30 a day, on auto.

We have encountered numerous situations with students all over the planet...and there's almost always a solid solution with multiple options. Is it always easy? No. But we have people doing amazing things from dozens of countries.

Did you see the testimonial by Barrington on the main sales page? He lives on an island and is rocking this - making a killing selling physical product on Amazon around the world.

Great question - grab a cup of coffee for the SHORT answer...

Simple answer: Yes - as the seller you (not Amazon) are responsible for ensuring you have proper sales tax tracking built in to your sales processes on Amazon (FBA or otherwise). Amazon lets you establish rules per item and per state for various items (some states tax items that other states don't for example.)

Sound complex? It is INCREDIBLY complex and it gets worse - I'm convinced that our tax policy leaders have no idea what it takes to run a real business in the real world.

Here's one way it gets worse:

In many U.S. states Amazon.com is playing by a different set of rules than we are as sellers. Here's why: Amazon is building warehouses around the county and as they do so they are cutting deals with local states in order to delay their sales tax obligations. Those exceptions however DO NOT apply to us as sellers! This means it's quite possible that as an online seller in some states you are supposed to be collecting taxes, but Amazon.com can sell the SAME ITEM form the same state, and be exempt from collecting sales taxes on it. Crazy isn't it?

Reality: Setting up state tax collection via eBay and Amazon is so incredibly complex that I would defy anyone to find a SINGLE Amazon or eBay seller with any sort of serious volume of sales on various items who is doing it all correctly (much like the rest of our tax system sadly). I have not yet heard of any legal cases being brought against an individual seller by any state yet...probably b/c it's so complex that there are no true solutions in place yet...and many of the new laws and rules are still in flux.

It's sort of like we have new laws in place against making boats that float...what state wants to be first to go after boat owners in that scenario?

My prediction is that once our brilliant legislators take a breath and stop passing sweeping massive new tax laws someone will recognize the opportunity to simplify things (or maybe Amazon will do it themselves), and we as sellers will begin seeing tools that can help keep us in compliance with the mountain of paperwork that is our tax code.

While I'm sure you'll like the answers I'd have for all of those questions, I hesitate to continue spending too much time here answering questions that my team is set up to handle more in depth and more personally.
